Kiki's POV

Sigh... Here I am, on yet another date with Killbane. It's rather uncomfortable to know that such a man could have such a huge crush on me, and also pretty scary to be honest. However, I am safe as long as I can act well enough. If he ever finds out that I don't actually love him back, he'd be heartbroken and most likely kill me. I even have to act like I do in front of Viola. She makes fun of me about it a lot, and I hate it, but I can't be too careful. You know I'd probably rather die than pretend to be in love with someone like Eddy. He hates it when anyone calls him that. It'd be enough calling him that to make him snap your neck.

My thoughts were interrupted by a deep growl and a firm hand squeezing my own. "What was that honey?" I asked him, forcing a warm smile. God, he's fooled so easily. "I said, 'I love you Ki." He glared at me. He was already suspicious. I knew that much. Oh, and bear in mind he has this stupid obsession with calling me "Ki." I don't need a nickname; for god's sake my name is four letters long. "Oh, sorry baby, I was lost in your eyes.. Love you too." His hand eased up (but he kept it there, ew) and his skeptical look disappeared. Jesus christ.. At some point I'm gonna have to tell him that I really don't. I realise that he's going to be after marriage sooner or later, and I already have someone in mind; but believe me when I say it's not Killbane.

Finally, it was over. But of course, we still had to have a meeting. It was at the Decker hideout, and there were a couple other people there including Matt and Viola, so at least I wouldn't be alone with him.

Viola's POV

Ugh. Another meeting. Why can't Kiki's little boyfriend figure out his problems on his own for once? And plus, I'm not even part of the Syndicate anymore. It was Kiki's fault. She called up a few of her girls to worm into a party she heard Pierce was setting up. I have nothing to do with this; I'm not even in the prostitution ring anymore. Still, I know if I don't go, I'll be hunted down and killed by Killbane. He's pretty temperamental; I'm afraid to even call him "Eddie" in my mind, for fear that he might somehow find out.

"HOOKER ASSASSINS?" I flinched as Killbane screamed at Kiki. "Well, Eddie, I'm sorry, but did you have a better plan? Did you even have one at all?" She snapped back and turned to Matt, "How about you? No? Didn't think so." Oh. My. God. Did she really just do that? She really shouldn't have; I could tell by the angry grumble coming from Killbane's throat that it was too far. He usually let her off of things because of their relationship but I don't think he would this time. She rolled her eyes at a girl named Juliet, who had recently joined the Deckers and had quickly made her way up to the top, and who also never took her hands off of Matt. They never stopped making out. They didn't even pay attention to her when she was talking to Matt; they were too busy smooching.

"There's a reason Philipe left the thinking to us.. Err, me," she barked at them, looking at me, remembering I had left. I just kind of tried to stay out of it, besides the occasional words of support for Kiki. "We're done here."

And those were her last words before a strong hand reached out to her, grabbed her by the neck, and snapped it.
