Matt is so irresponsible. He got kidnapped by zin. Again. And Viola and I had to save him. Why should we? He never did anything for us. If you can recall, let's go back in time to when Viola and I were held in captivity. Did he come running to save us then? Technically yes, but he never actually helped us out. But of course, Viola wouldn't care about that. The two of them are lovebirds or whatever. Well I don't care what the boss said. I was not helping Matt.
Well, I'm helping Matt. I may have been bribed. I'm actually kind of glad I did, because it was really cool, I'm not gonna lie. Although on the downside, I did see him naked. Now that's a sight I'm not gonna forget. Eugh!
Kinzie gave us robots! Power armor, whatever. Again, on the downside, Viola came with, but Kinzie didn't have enough power armor so we had to share... Oh god, if you had been there. The bickering would not stop. We were like five year olds fighting over a toy. Who could move it, who could shoot the guns, the cannons, etc. Here's how it happened:
"Shaundi, I need you to come back to the ship. Now." I heard the boss over my phone that Kinzie says I should get rid of. I never questioned the boss. Nobody ever did. I didn't hesitate to head back over.
"Shaundi, we have an issue." Uh oh. Was I in trouble? "Matt was taken." I have never been so relieved in my life. Not the fact that Matt was taken, although I didn't really mind that he had been. We had never really been friends. It's kind of like when a distant family member dies and you think, "Oh that sucks, but I never really knew them, so it doesn't really matter too much to me." Or am I the only one? Yeah, I think I'm the only one.
Oh well, we needed to focus on getting Matt back. "Has Kinzie had any luck tracking him down?" I inquired. "Not yet, but she thinks he's been kidnapped by the Zin. Well, duh. I mean, what else? The army of unicorns aint gonna come raining down and take him away into the sunset." I don't think the boss really favored Kinzie. I didn't really mind her to be honest, but she wasn't my favourite person in the world. She's fun to mess with most of the time. Other times she just gets pissy.
"Anyways, why don't you go check with her? It's been a while since I've asked," the boss informed me. "So... How long has it been since you asked?" "About a week. Why?" I facepalmed. "Boss, that means Matt has been missing for over a week. He's probably dead by now! Okay, we all need to stay calm here. Whatever you do, don't tell Viola. She'll be so upset..." "Tell me what?" She called from across the room happily. "Fuhhhh... Nothing, Viola... Just wondering what to get you for your birth-" "Matt's been kidnapped!" The boss jumped in. I shot her a glare. I saw Viola begin to tense up. Her fists clenched, legs straightened, and for a second, I thought she was gonna come over there and give us both a beating for not telling her earlier. Instead, she had a breakdown. She collapsed on the floor and began sobbing uncontrollably. She started to scream a little, but I wasn't quite sure what she was saying.
Oh god, oh god... What should I say? I'm not good in this sort of situation.... "Um.. It'll be okay, Viola. We'll find him," I reassured her, awkwardly patting her on the back. She slapped my hand away. "You don't understaaaand!! No one has ever loved you. You don't know what it's like!" Um... Excuse? Well that's the last time I'm trying to help anybody. "Well fine then. I guess you aren't coming." This time she looked really mad. She climbed up slowly, head down, legs spread apart, fists clenched, knuckles white. She slowly started to look up and her head snapped up. It looked like she was possessed. Her eyes were literally glowing. Slowly she marched towards me, head rolling around her shoulders, it cracking loudly as she went. Then, in the most calm, quiet, sweet (and rather creepy) voice she seemed to be able to muster right now, she said, "What did you just say?" I had a nervous look on my face. "Uhhh..." She closed her eyes for about two seconds and opened them again. "I said.... What did you just say to me?" I backed away awkwardly. The boss tried to save me. "Hey Viola, I think you oughta step back a bit there pal." "Shut. Your. Dirty. Mouth." I was surprised. Even the boss was scared, so she backed away and let me deal with her myself. Well it's good to know how good a friend she is.
I was looking over at the boss, mouthing frantically for her to get this crazy bitch away from me. She just shook her head and shrugged her shoulders. I looked at her in disbelief when.... Next thing I knew I was on the floor pinned down. Turns out, Viola is an experienced fighter. I didn't really expect that from her.. She always seemed like a quiet, funloving girl to me. Not dangerous at all. Boy, was I mistaken. Hair was pulled, teeth were knocked out, clothing was torn, anything you can think of. As soon as she was done she lifted her knees off of my chest, dusted off her hands, and said, "I'm going."

Hey everyone! I'm splitting this into two parts because I haven't published anything in a while and I decided it was about time, and the main reason I'm stopping here is because it's the middle of a Sunday night and I still haven't even started my homework D: I'll (hopefully) be publishing the next chapter soon!
