"Matt did WHAT?" I screamed at Viola as I stared into her excited, young eyes. I rolled my head around my shoulders, neck cracking dangerously as I stared across the room at Matt. "Shaundi, don't!" As you probably figured, I completely ignored her and stormed diagnol from her towards Matt, my curvy ponytail bouncing happily, the opposite of what I was right now. I grabbed his neck, threw my arm on his chest and shoved him against the wall as hard as I could. "Listen here, buddy, wouldn't want to get a beating now, would you? Now you stay the hell away from Viola, or I'll shove that stupid thing down your throat," I said pointing behind him at the black bottle of nail polish on his desk. What kind of guy wears that much makeup and nail polish anyway? God, emo little brat.
Anyways, getting down to business, we had more important things to be doing than giving the attention-seeker what he wanted. The boss was lecturing us again. I wasn't really paying attention, what with all that had just happened. I glanced around to the other side of the room, where Viola was sitting arms and legs crossed, eyes in slits. I rolled my eyes. She wouldn't be mad at me forever... Would she? Was this the end of our friendship? I hope not; we've been friends forever. It couldn't end like this!
So, the boss has been entering simulations of everyone's nightmares. It was Pierce's turn. I, of course, being the person I am, wanted to go just to make fun of that good-for-nothing Pierce. Plus, Viola being the person that she is, I assumed she would want to go as well. And Matt being the person that he is would want to chase Viola down and win her over. I think this would all play out quite nicely.
"Alright boss, have fun on your trip to Pierce's world! Be careful, that one's gonna be especially dangerous!" I laughed to her joyfully, then in a hushed voice added, "I'm going, but don't tell Viola or Matt." She was a little confused, but she allowed it. That's what I liked about the boss, she never questioned our needs or wants, she just rolled with it. She understood us. Anyways, I knew that if either of the two knew I was going, neither of them would go.
Now, I needed to make sure that no one would rat on me, or that anyone would find out. The only way to leave the simulation is for Kinzie to send them out in the swirly thing, which I should really give a name so I don't have to keep saying that. Anyways, I needed to make sure that Kinzie wouldn't teleport them out when they knew I was going to tag along with them. I strolled on over to Kinzie casually, making small talk, like "The weather is nice today." Then, like I did with the boss, I said in a lower voice, "Here's 100 bucks to keep quiet to Viola and Matt, now go buy yourself a new toy at Leather and Lace." I probably shouldn't have said that to her, she probably won't keep her flapping hole shut. Oh well. I can always force them to go... Or stay.
When it was time to go, I said my goodbyes to the boss, and attempted to with Viola and Matt (him of course, by spitting up into the air and seeing who it landed on), but they decided not to return it. I still planned to go in after them, by the way. They were now hooked up to the simulator. Let's get the party started.
