The demise of lady Sif

The wind whipped wildly around her as the dark haired daughter of Asgard fought for the realm eternal and all those who resided there. Her blade christened in the blood of her enemies, staining the silver a murky red. Her eyes flamed in anger as she laid waste to man after man, beast after beast, she went on unchallenged. Non could match her fighting skills, non could bring her down. The crunch of their bones rang through her ears as she pierced their skin with her blade and broke their necks with her bare hands, she watched with delight as they fell heavily to the ground. Their eyes open and full of fear and their last memory of her face. 'I wilt remain unchallenged!' Her cold laughter echoed softly across the battlefield until it was brought to an abrupt halt. A sharp blow to the back of her head caused her to fall to her knees, her vision blurry and her head light. She groaned as she tried to regain her stature, smoke slowly began surround her, she noticed everywhere was alight, she fell to the ground coughing and gasping for air as the smoke plumes filled her lungs. A shadow appeared above her, a shining object lit by the orange flames. "You have killed enough Asgardian, it is time for our forces to cheer in victory."

His sword was pressed against her throat, she looked up at him with a smirk, she did not fear death.

"Then slay me, send me unto my demise, I shalt be welcomed into Valhalla a heroine."

He thrust his sword into her throat, warm liquid flooded down her neck and stained the grass where she lay, her eyes glossed over and became vacant as her lifeforce exited her form. Cheers erupted from the enemy forces as her hand fell limp upon the grass, her body drained, her soul residing within Valhalla....
