It's been days since the Highschool ball happened. It's the most memorable night indeed. Lahat naman yun ang sasabihin.

Ganun naman talaga, hindi ba? We are intend to enjoy and have fun that night. So we must live it to the fullest.

That's what we did. Girls and boys.

It's good to say that Madelyn won the title as "Queen of the Night" but... Boys didn't. A boy named Ems got it.

Sabagay, wala lang naman para sakanila iyon. It's no big deal kung manalo sila o hindi. Para sa amin naman kasi panalo sila. At tyaka si Lance nga wala man lang kagana gana rumampa but still he never lost his shine, right?

Pagkatapos nun ay finals naman, tapos na rin naman at only days left ay pag complete ng requirements at graduation na.

I will surely miss this school, kahit naman puro pasikat kami noon marami pa rin kaming memories ng mga kagaguhan namin dito. Lalo na nung may plano pa.

"Hoy birthday boy. Bat tulala ka?" I snapped back to reality when Roby interrupted.

"Ah hindi naman. May iniisip lang." Sambit ko at bumalik na sa pag-kain.

Oh well, it's march 9, guess what?

It's my Birthday.

Bago pa man dumating ang araw na to, nag-insist na agad ako mag-celebrate at mag-treat ng foods. Alam ko kasi may balak nanaman silang i-surprise ako. Ganun naman lagi kapag may birthday di ba? Hindi naman sa assuming ako pero alam ko ganun iyon when it comes to this circle of friends.

"You really are not into surprises." Patango tangong sambit ni Julia.

"Really." I agreed.

Hindi talaga ako mahilig sa surprises. It's their presence on that day that matters. Ang mahalaga lang naman sa'kin ay kasama ko sila sa pinaka mahalagang araw sa buhay ko. Especially Michaella.

"Bakit nga ba you're not into it?" Nagtatakang tanong naman ni Gwen.

"He's really like that, ilang beses naming sinubukan na i-surprise siya through the years. Lagi naman kaming pumapalpak." Natatawang sambit ni Jeric.

That's true, though. Ilang beses ko silang nahuhuli na may ginagawang kung ano and they always end up saying "Surprise?"

It's weird.

For my answer to Gwen's question, "I just like to be with you guys. It's more than enough as a gift. Your presence is a must." Nakangiti kong sambit.

But instead... I just received an, "Ew!"

Nakakadiri nga talagang maging sweet.

Napalingon naman ako sa tabi ko and saw Michaella not even touching her food.

"May problema ba?" I asked her.

"Wala naman, may iba lang akong gustong kainin."

"Ano yun? Ipapa-order kita."

"Nope, tayo nalang bibili." Ngiti niya.

"Osige, tara na." Patayo na sana ako ng hilain niya ako.

Puro order kasi tong food for breakfast. Baka mamaya pa daw kami maghanda. Well, nag sleep over ang girls dito tutal naman daw birthday ko.
