Batman x Joker What Would I Do Without You

Chapter 10

Normal POV

Batman showed Joker to the living room where they could sit and talk more while relaxing. Batman had got a note on the coffee table saying Alfred had left to do some errands, so that gave Batman more time to figure out how to hide Joker long enough to have a private talk with Alfred. He knew his butler would freak out over something like this calling the dark knight crazy so it would be a long talk he dreaded.. But until then his only focus needed to be on Joker.

Joker was very nosy, looking around everywhere. He couldn't believe his eyes, the place was huge. He never stopped to realize just how rich Bats really was, but even still he thinks more about Batman, him being rich is just a plus to the amazing guy sitting on the couch next to him already.

"This is the Wayne Manor, I'm guessing the reason your glancing around the whole room is because you didn't know." Batman said noticing how Joker's eyes opened widely at the sight of his home.

"Wayne Manor?... I've heard of that before, Wayne tech and enterprises... That gives me an idea of who you are haha." Joker smirked

"I want to be real with you, I want us to be able to trust each other." Batman exclaimed

"You are being awfully open with me. I want the trust thing too. I would tell you who I really am but I don't fully remember my past exactly." Joker confessed, "To me this is the real me."

"How do you not remember your own past? It's impossible for me to forget mine. I know we both had hard pasts but you really don't remember anything clearly?" Batman found it really hard to believe.

"Sometimes I remember it one way and sometimes another, but if I am to have a past I prefer it to be multiple choice."

Batman understood, he was really messed up so he probably repressed a lot of memories and he was insane after all. Batman decided to take off his mask to reveal who he really was to the clown. Even though he couldn't know who Joker fully was he can at least show who he really is to him.

"Bruce Wayne?... Hahaha I knew it Batsy or should I call you Brucie?" Joker found it amusing

"You don't seem too impressed I finally showed you myself without my mask.. ?" Bruce was confused

"Well because even though the real you is Bruce, it's not actually the real you." Joker saw he was confused so he explained, "... You see like I told you before, I don't care much about who I was because to me Joker is the real me. This is who I am and my life. The same goes for you too, you may have this before life as regular Bruce but Batman is who you really are as a person. You're more yourself than anything with the mask on than off."

Bruce actually felt so much love from the Joker as he said that because he knew he was being sincere, "I love you..."

They smiled at each other and Joker added, "I love you for you as my Batsy, you being rich and fucking handsome is all just a plus to me haha."

Bruce laughed as he got up and went to change out of the rest of his costume and into comfy clothes. Joker sneaked behind him to follow him to his bedroom.
