Batman POV
It was a few days later now, Bruce was in his library waiting until night to leave at Batman. He had heard nothing from Joker yet. He wasn't sure if it was a good thing or a bad thing yet but he was sure he needed to find out tonight.
*10 o'clock at night now*
Bruce was suiting up as Batman to patrol Gotham and hopefully spy on what the Joker might be doing. Just as he hopped into the batmobile he heard his cellphone ring, it was a number he had never seen before. He answered it cautiously.
"Hello..."
"Hello Batsy..." A rasped voice said over the phone.
Batman knew only one man who ever called him Batsy....
"JOKER!?!?!" Batman was so confused and started shrieking.
"Aww, is someone excited to finally hear from his favorite clown?... haha" Joker making kissy noises to emphasize.
"How did you get this number! I reserve this phone for important people like Gordon, Alfred, Robin..."
Joker cut him off mid-sentence, "..... Aren't I important to you?"
Batman paused trying to think before he spoke, "Yes but... I never gave you this number before. How did you get it?"
"Let's just say I stalked you for a little while which is why you haven't heard from me for a couple days... Don't be mad though, I needed a private way to get ahold of you."
"How am I suppose to not get angry over something like this?!? What else did you find?"
".... The phone number was the only real thing I was after, nothing else mattered as much to me."
"......Ok, so since you wanted my number so badly what did you want to discuss privately with me?" Batman became curious as to what the Joker's intentions were.
"I wanted to ask you to meet me somewhere... Maybe it's just to talk or maybe I have 20 hostages I'm about to kill and I wanna see you and not the police. hahahahaha"
Batman began to yell becoming furious if innocent people were in danger. He may feelings for the Joker but his city and its people came first to him, always. "Tell me where you are right now!"
"I'm at the abandoned carnival, come find me Batsy baby. Toodles haha"
Batman immediately hang up to phone and stormed out of the batcave hoping to get there in time before anything bad could happen, if there was anything to worry about for that matter.
Joker POV
Joker stood in front of the Ferris wheel he had fixed up. He fixed most of this old carnival actually, making it special and his own. He knew joking about having hostages would get Batman here no matter what, Bats couldn't resist saving the citizens in this godforsaken place. He never understood why but tonight Joker made plans to act as though he was on a date with Bats even if only he knew about it. He also plans to speak privately about anything regarding what happened between him and the bat but he couldn't let Batman know his intentions in case it wasn't mutual. It all still seemed very confusing.
Off in the distance Joker noticed Batman was finally arriving in his batmobile. Batman stopped right in front of the Ferris wheel where Joker was and jumped out looking serious to save lives.
"Where are they! If you have hurt anyone I swear to god!..."
"Oh Batsy relax... I don't have any hostages. I needed a way to make sure you would actually show up and it worked haha." Joker was so happy to see him there, he put his arm around Batman walking him to the big Ferris wheel to ride with him.
Batman looked pissed and felt lied too but he knew how the Joker was so why should he be surprised. Going along with it Batman decided to ride with him just to see what exactly was going on then.
