Chapter 23

Normal POV

Bruce walked back into his bedroom after speaking to Dick about his relationship. He found Joker bored out of his mind watching some show on his big flat screen tv, lying all over the bed.

"It's about time Bats, hell if you left me alone any longer I would start to think you left me for another sexy green haired guy." He joked.

Bruce sat on the edge of the bed, "I told you it might take me a while to talk to him about us. This is a hard situation."

"So by that I'm guessing he's super pissed at you now?" He said clicking the tv off.

"I don't know.. I don't blame him if he is but I'm gonna hope for the best and give him time and space to think. It didn't seem like he was too happy with it though.."

"He'll be fine, and if not I can always get into people's heads haha"

"How are you able to make jokes out of something serious like this? Aren't you at all worried?"

"Oh Bats, it's just in my nature. Nothing should be taken too seriously, just look at the funny side."

"I disagree I think most things should be taken seriously." Bruce replied.

"Trust me I know how you are," Joker hugged him from behind, "But you're cute anyway haha"

"I hope when I leave tonight as Batman he'll come with me as Robin. He's resting right now but I told him I'd check on him later this evening."

"Does that mean I can't tag along too?"

"Probably not Joker, I don't like making a habit of it anyway. I'm starting to get shit from Gordon about you being around me so much and I can't have anyone talking about us."

"You're such a party pooper." The clown said childishly.

"And you're a trouble maker Daddy needs to keep punishing." He patted Joker on the head and stood up to leave the room.

Joker blushed when he said that, "Where are you going? Do not leave me in here again!!"

Bruce left shutting the door behind him, and Joker muttered to himself, "Son of a bitch thinks I'll stay in here forever he's wrong.."

Joker POV

Joker got up and also left the room trying to go after him, but that bat must be quick on his feet because he couldn't find him.

He decided he'd just mindlessly walk around the manor until he found Batman or something to mess with. He walked down to the end of the upstairs hallway, turned a corner and found another long hallway. He peeked in a door clear on the end and saw a boy lying in a bed and the light was off.

"It must be the boy blunder." He thought to himself. Not knowing whether he should go in or not he just stood outside of the door and took a pen out of his jacket pocket. He didn't have any paper to write on so he briskly walked to the bathroom and grabbed a sheet of toilet paper and wrote, "Meet me in the laundry room"

He took the note he wrote and peeking through the door he found one of Dick's bags. He very carefully reached his hand in the doorway and placed the message he wrote on top of the bag so he would see it.

"Batsy thinks I was joking about talking to the lad myself haha I actually want to do something about this too." He whispered to himself and then walked around and went downstairs to find his bat boyfriend.
