Chapter 19

Joker POV

Joker ran downstairs to find Alfred. He needed some sort of vehicle to get around Gotham faster.

He spotted Alfred in the library, "Butler!! I need you to do something for me."

"What is that may I ask?.." He was skeptical of whatever Joker needed him for.

"I need some kind of car or something, I gotta move quickly. I told Bats I got an idea on finding that Ivy girl."

"Well... I suppose if Batman approves of whatever you're planning then you can borrow the bat-cycle. He almost never touches his motocycle, I'll show you where it is in the batcave."

Alfred used the secret entrance to the batcave from the library they were in, Joker was amazed there was a secret path at all. He walked Joker to the motorcycle and gave him the keys.

"Make sure you don't come back with it damaged!" The butler warned.

"I'll be fine!" He sped out of there fast on the bike. He was going to go find Harley.

As he was zooming down the road he instantly found his hideout. Hopefully Harley was there waiting for him.

Joker walked inside yelling her name, "Harley!! Are you home or not?!?!?"

She popped up from the next room, "Hey Mr.J!! You're finally back!! You've been gone so long now I thought you forgot about me." He groaned irritably as she hugged him.

"Listen Harles, I don't have a whole lot of time to stand around and chat. That friend of yours with the plant fetish? When's the last time you talked to her?"

"Ivy? Probably three days ago. She was with Catwoman and the Riddler. They were making a plan to mess with Batman, they think they can take him down faster than you and asked me to join them, but I turned it down because they won't kill Batman faster than you. You're the best at what you do not them." She explained.

"Me kill Batman faster than them?... I don't want to kill Batman you moron!! He's the one person I care about most!!" Joker was getting furious.

"I-I'm sorry, Puddin... I always just assumed you would get him out of the picture, out of our lives for good at some point..." She backed up a little, scared she would get hit.

"That bat is mine!! Nobody messes with him but me!! I need you to tell me where Poison Ivy is now!!" He practically screamed getting so angry. Batman was his and only his.

"You.. You won't kill her will you?..." She feared.

"No. For reasons I can't explain no I can't kill anyone right now. But I can certainly teach her a lesson about trying to play with someone else's man."

"She at main church in Gotham... God Mr.J, you act like Bats is your boyfriend or something. I'm the one you're suppose to be in love with." She crossed her arms and pouted.

"For the last time Harley, you and me are never happening ever again. My love belongs to someone else.I just used you and you're too damn blind to see that."

Her heart broke as he said that to her, "Who has your love then if not me? Who is she?..."

"Let's just say I'm bat-sexual." With that he ran out the door and hopped back on the motorcycle.

It dawned on her, that's where he's been. Living with Batman. His boyfriend. She would have her revenge on the bat that stole her clown from her.

Batman POV

The dark knight was scanning another riddle he found on the side of a building in an alley way when suddenly he heard a really loud noise driving up his way. It stopped in front of him. It was Joker on his bat-cycle.

"Alfred let you take that or you stole it?"

"I asked him for it don't worry. I just needed a quick way to get around Gotham. I got information from Harley."

"What did she say? Where's Ivy and Catwoman?"

"She said Ivy is hiding in the main church the cat lady is probably with her. As for Riddler, he's just playing games with you while they do the dirty work."

"Then we have to get to the church now!"

"Wait Bats!.. I think I should go instead of you. Harley said they made a plan that could possibly kill you."

"A lot of criminals in Gotham have tried to kill me, I know what I'm doing."

"I had my own plan on stopping them, Batsy."

"I won't allow you to murder anyone Joker." He said sternly.

"I'm not murdering anyone, being a bad guy myself I know how to get to them in ways you don't. How to stop them without you getting in danger at all."

"... I'll let you try your plan but I'm coming with you and waiting outside of the church. Then I can pop in if I need to."

"Alright Bats."

Batman got on the back of the motorcycle holding onto Joker's waist and they drove off.
