Chapter 17

Normal POV

As they cuddled in the sheet-less bed, they started having random conversations of anything that popped into their minds.

"So what kind of date are you taking me on tomorrow Batsy? and can you wear your bat suit out? I'm hoping for a little role playing tomorrow if you know what I mean haha." He wiggled his eyebrows.

"I don't mind wearing the bat suit but we can't go anywhere public, too risky for us to be seen together like that." Bruce confessed.

"It's like you're my dirty little secret Bats, haha I have to honest though, I like the sound of that. Keeping you all to myself and nobody has to know, how sweet and sexy." Joker giggled squeezing the other man tighter in his embrace.

"I can always buy you new makeup too, you over do it too much." Bruce caressed his lover's face.

Joker smacked his hand away lightly, "This is what my actual face looks like you Bat-brain."

There was a long pause before Bruce spoke again, "Oh... You look really cute.."

"All these years of fighting each other you're only finding this out now?.."

"I guess there's still small things I still don't fully know about you. I'd like to know everything about you though, I'm sure there's more you'd like to learn about me too."

"I guess you're right... But I'm still mad.. you owe me." He crossed his arms.

"I'll surprise you with a present when I come back later tonight."

"What?... You're leaving tonight why?..." Joker felt like a lost puppy without him.

"I leave as Batman every night, either to patrol for crime for a few hours or to answer the bat signal when something really bad happens."

"Your job sucks Bats.. I mean, unless I'm the one you're rushing out to stop."

"There's lots of other criminals I have to take care of. Gotham is full of them and my city always comes first to me. I'm its protector."

"...I'm your favorite though right... I should warn you I'm the jealous type. You're my Batsy and only mine.." Joker didn't want to ever let go of him.

Bruce kissed him lovingly on the lips, "Nobody could ever take your place to me, you'll always be my favorite. I love you, it doesn't matter how long I'm gone at night, you're the person I want to come home to."

Joker smiled, he knew looking into Bruce's eyes this was who he was spending forever with.

Bruce got a call on his cellphone suddenly, he pulled it out and answered it.

"Hello?"

"Master Bruce, I was currently making dinner but the bat signal came on, commissioner Gordon said it was urgent. I will save you're food back for when you arrive back home sir."

"Thanks Alfred, keep Joker company while I'm gone, he's allowed going anywhere in the house as long as he's with you."

Alfred sighed, "Alright sir, as you wish. He can come down to the dining room to eat if he wants."

"Ok" Bruce clicked end call and jumped up to get ready to go.

"Bats? You have to leave right now?..." Joker looked sad.

"The bat signal's on so I need to get down to the batcave and go quickly. Alfred is keeping an eye on you while I'm gone, he's waiting for you in the dining room."

"Can't I just go with you on your little mission?"

"No, it's better if you stay here, I'll have my work done and back in no time. I promise." He gave Joker a kiss on the cheek and rushed out.

Joker was a little disappointed but he knew he'd have to make do with this if he was going to date Batman...

Joker POV

Joker had a hard time getting up after Batman fucked the life out of him, he could hardly walk straight but managed to grab his shirt off the floor and put it on. Batman was at least nice enough to have already helped him with getting his pants back on.

Then Joker walked downstairs trying to find which room was the dining room. The place was like a palace, much too big to know where he's going. He stumbled into the kitchen, "Eh close enough" he thought.

Alfred walked in from the next room, "Aw Master Joker, I was told by Master Bruce to watch you for the night. I'm willing to start fresh with you from earlier today seeing how much you mean to him." He reached his hand out to shake Joker's.

He obliged and shook the butler's hand, "I don't know why he left me with you, I should've just sneaked out with him."

"You don't want to lose his trust that fast. The dining room is this way sir, I can eat with you if you like so you won't have to dine alone."

"Sure, why not. So you're kinda like my butler too now huh?" He jokingly asked as he walked to the dining room table to sit down.

Alfred served himself and Joker sitting with him to eat, "I suppose so but my loyalty is to Bruce and Batman. I was the one who raised him after his parent passed away."

Joker replied in between bites of food, "So... You're like a dad to him too?"

"Precisely."

"Did Bats ever have any kids of his own?" Joker was curious.

"None biologically, but Robin, who is master Dick Grayson, is his adopted son."

Joker was shocked, he remembered Robin but never knew he was Batman's adopted kid, "I never knew he adopted poor ole orphan Robin.."

"Well, technically if you and master Bruce ever get married he would be your adopted son too." Alfred pointed out.

Joker wasn't sure how to react to that information. He just stared at his plate of food.

"Master Joker, Did he happen to tell you yet that master Dick will be stopping by in a few days and staying for a week before going back to finish schooling."

"No, Batsy never told me that..." Joker didn't know how Robin would be knowing he was bumping uglies with his 'dad'.

"I don't believe master Bruce has told Dick about you yet, he might waiting to discuss it with him in person like me."

"Well, at least you said it would be a few days before he gets here. I don't want to stress about any of it." Joker replied.

They both continued eating and bringing up different subjects to talk about. Perhaps this butler could actually be a good friend of Joker's instead of hating each other.
