"Oh you two know each other?" Chanel asked from beside me. I looked over at Valerie to see a hurt expression on her face. "Yeah, we uh-"

Before I could finish my sentence Valerie has started down the other side of the beach, walking away from us fast.

"Valerie" Chanel called after her chasing her down the beach. I wanted to go after her but I knew I couldn't. I didn't know what the hell to say, after a year of missing her and still trying to cope with loving her she was finally here? And now I couldn't love her, because once again a part of me had also started liking someone else.

Looking off into the distance I watched Valerie stop and Chanel stop in front of her and they both started yelling. I sighed, I watched as Valerie looked back over at me before she stormed off again. Why was life so horrible to me?
