Arendelle
One and A Half Years Ago

"Classy."

Elsa raised her eyebrow at the reflection of her sister on the mirror before turning herself over to fully look at Anna, clad in a beautiful light blue dress, hair cascading down passed her shoulders.

"The snowflakes." The Princess gestured with her hand with a smile on her face at the grand white dress which was indeed decorated with not only precious gems but also snowflakes. "Had to add your personal touch somehow, right?"

The blonde woman looked down at the dress she was wearing. Unlike Anna, who wore their Mother's dress in her wedding, hers was designed and made specifically for her, the Council's idea was that as Queen, she should have an even more grand wedding than the Princess'.

Her wedding...

Had it been a few years back, she would have never considered herself marrying out of love. She was prepared to be married for the importance of diplomacy, it was one of the many duties placed upon her shoulders. Now, she wouldn't exchange this day for the world.

In just a few hours she would have walked into the church, clutching a bouquet of flowers in her hands, as she approached her groom.

Her beloved.

Her Hans.

It was almost an impossible thing, the love that have bloomed between them, but it was strong and it survived through the thick and thin of their relationship. Roughly six months ago Hans had proposed to her, sliding the diamond ring around her finger after she had said yes. Their engagement was welcomed with open arms from Anna and Kristoff and cheers from the people of Arendelle.

Years had passed since the Prince had shown up in Arendelle, had assisted her Navy to be better even with the knowledge that he was not fully welcomed back then. And though there was not a big attack launched toward Arendelle from his brothers, her scouts had definitely caught movements just outside their borders.

They were waiting and as did Arendelle.

She just hoped, a small prayer she had in her mind, that they would not ruin this day.

This was her special day, /their/ special day.

"Elsa," Anna's voice brought her back into reality, along with fingers that lifted her chin up. "It's okay to be nervous, everyone experience it."

"I know." The Queen smiled as she pulled her younger sister into her arms. "Thank you, Anna."

The snort that came from Anna made the older sister gave her a light warning look when they parted. "There's really no need for you to thank me, sis." The strawberry blonde haired Princess smiled, "You deserve to be happy too."

Bliss.

At the moment, it was the word that she could come up with as she laid in bed.

No matter how large the bed was, still she was pressed flushed against the body of her husband.

Her husband...

She was a married woman now, her eyes watched the dim glow of the golden ring around her finger, feeling the heartbeat underneath her palm as Hans slept peacefully, arms wrapped securely around her body.

The ceremony has gone smoothly, the reception was grand and filled with guests from all over the country, yet there was not a single guest coming from the Southern Isles.

Hans told her not to worry nor to mind it that much, he has received a letter that due to the tension between Arendelle and three of the Princes, the Southern Isles has decided not to attend their wedding to keep the neutral status they would like to maintain.

In short, they didn't want to get involved in anything.

Craning her neck, she pressed a gentle lingering kiss upon Hans' jaw, fingers running smoothly over his sideburns as she let out a quiet sigh. She was not supposed to think over this tonight, this was her wedding night after all, and she had to be up early tomorrow to begin her usual day as Queen.
Tonight, she would let herself being driven into a blissful sleep.

Ah, still having a little struggle to write a long chapter, but I'm still trying to improve, don't worry.
