"Welcome home," John smiled as he held the door open for Rose. She smiled and walked through the entryway. She set down the baby's car seat on the couch and started to unbuckle the sleeping baby. She picked her up and slowly walked to the new nursery with John.

"You finished it?" she asked as she walked into the room.

"Yeah, I added the finishing touches yesterday."

Rose leaned over and kissed her husband softly. "Thank you."

He grinned and led her to the bassinet. Rose set the baby down in the bassinet and stood over it, watching as the baby calmly rested her hands on her stomach.

She leaned against her husband's chest as he wrapped his arms around her. "She's so beautiful."

John kissed the side of her head. "She looks like you."

Rose ducked her head to hide the blush, but smiled nonetheless. "I can't believe she's ours."

"Believe it," John smiled, "because she's here to stay."

A knock on the door broke the small moment of quiet Rose and John had after Rose's mother and father had left.

John stood up to answer the door and grinned when the team stood in the doorway.

"We're sorry we couldn't make it sooner," Jemma apologized in a quiet voice as she walked into the room.

"I'm just glad you came," Rose grinned.

"Rose, you are positively glowing with happiness," Skye smiled warmly at her friend as she moved to go sit beside her. "She's beautiful," Skye cooed when she saw the baby. "What's her name?"

"Donna Rose Smith," John said proudly as he stood behind the couch, watching the three women and the baby.

"Congratulations," Ward smiled and held his hand out.

John shook it. "Thanks."

"How long were you in labor?" Skye piped up as she gently held the baby.

"Two hours," Rose sighed. "Apparently that's normal with your first. It was hell," she then smiled down at her daughter, "but it was worth it."

Skye passed the baby over to Jemma and Jemma waved her finger in front of the baby's face, smiling down at her. "She's extremely healthy, by the looks of it," Jemma remarked.

"Yeah, we were lucky," John smiled as he placed his hands on his wife's shoulders.

"I'll say," Jemma said warmly as she passed the baby on to Fitz.

"I'm so happy for you guys," Skye grinned broadly, unable to wipe the smile from her face.

"Thank you," Rose said sincerely. "Have you chosen a date for the wedding, yet? she changed the subject.

Ward cradled the baby in his arms as she was passed to him and he looked up at Rose. "Not an official date yet, no. We know we want to have it in September, though. We have a few months to think about an exact date."

"Well, we'll keep our schedule free," Rose joked.

"Appreciated," Ward smirked as he handed the baby back to her mother.

"Have you ever thought about having kids?" Skye wondered aloud as she sat on the couch with Ward's arm around her.

He closed his book and stared down at her. "Have you?"

Skye shrugged. "I always thought, back at the orphanage, that I didn't want any. I spent so much time around the little kids that I didn't like them. Then I grew up and was kind of impartial. But seeing little Donna today..." she trailed off and Ward smiled.

"You were good with her."

"You think?" she looked up at him.

"Yeah," he replied with a nod. "You'd be a great mom."

Skye smiled warmly at him and pressed a kiss to his cheek. "Well, I think you would be a great dad."
