"Ok, dress, check. Flowers, check. Venue, check. Guest list and invitations sent out, check. Food, check. Cake, check," Skye rattled off as she went over all the planning for the wedding in her head.
Ward walked over to Skye and rested his hands on her shoulders. "Skye," he said calmly as he pulled her back against his chest, "take a deep breath."
She did as she was told. "I just don't want anything to go wrong."
He leaned over and pressed a kiss to her temple. "You've been planning this wedding for so long and a bunch of other people have stepped in to help you. It'll be fine."
Skye relaxed and slumped against his chest. "You're right, you're right." She then groaned. "Ew, look at me, I'm turning into bridezilla."
Ward chuckled and rested his chin on the top of her head. "Well, you haven't torn anyone's head off yet, so I'll take what I can get."
Skye chuckled. "Never say never, there's still time. We still have a week until the wedding."
"I think you can contain yourself for seven days," he smirked.
Skye sighed. "Says you. You're not the one who's worried about all this."
"Would you like me to be?" he questioned.
"No," she sighed. "How are you so calm? You're not scared anything will go wrong?"
Ward shrugged. "I don't need a big fancy wedding. All I need there is you," he paused, "and maybe the rings."
Skye smiled and turned around, facing him now. "And I used to say you were a robot." She leaned up and kissed his cheek. "Thanks for calming me down."
Ward nodded once and smirked. "Anytime."
Skye wrapped her arms around him and rested her head against his chest. "So, any idea what the guys are planning for your party?"
Ward chuckled. "I specifically requested nothing crazy and no one popping out of a cake."
"Smart man," Skye laughed.
"What about you?"
"Honestly, I really hope it's just me and the girls getting our nails done. I just need something relaxing after all of this," she admitted with a deep breath leaving her lungs.
"I'll put in a good word for you," he said as he squeezed her tightly and then let her go.
"You're the best!" she shouted after him with a smile as he walked away.
He turned his head and smirked. "Oh, I know."

"Your wish for the bachelorette party has been received and granted," Jemma smiled as she walked into the lounge later that day.
Skye sighed happily. "Thank you."
Jemma chuckled and moved to sit next to Skye on the couch. "Your party will also be tonight, since it's the only night that Rose's mum is free to babysit little Donna."
"Ok," Skye smiled slightly, "what time do you want to leave?"
"You have half an hour to get ready before we go," Jemma stood up from the couch and smirked as she walked off.

"Thank you for this," Skye sighed happily as she, Jemma, and Rose were getting their toes done. "With everything being so stressful lately, this is exactly what I needed."
"Have you got everything ready yet?" Rose asked.
"Yeah, I think so. If all goes well, the wedding should go off without a hitch." Skye sighed again and then chuckled. "You know, its kind of weird to not have been on a mission in over a month. I'm getting restless."
Jemma laughed. "Well, I would wait until after the wedding to ask for a mission. You've only got one more week to go, you can make it."
"You think?" Skye teased.
"I do," Jemma nodded.
"How have things been with you?" Skye turned her attention towards Rose.
"Good," Rose smiled. "Donna's not crawling yet, so I haven't been chasing her around. She can sit up now, though," Rose pulled out her phone and showed a picture of her daughter sitting up.
"Aw," Skye cooed as she held the phone, looking at the pictures of baby Donna. "Rose, she's adorable."
Rose grinned. "I like to think so too."
Skye turned to Simmons next. "So, what about you and Fitz? You don't talk about him much."
Simmons shrugged with a small smile. "Fitz and I are great. By now we've been dating just a little over a year, but we're good. Our dynamic hasn't changed at all, really," she said as she thought about it. "We still work well together, only now we can-"
"Be affectionate in the work place instead of looking at the other one longingly?" Rose interrupted, laughing.
Jemma blushed. "You make it sound like we were looking at each other like lost puppies before we got together."
"You were," Skye patted Simmons' shoulder.
Simmons rolled her eyes. "Ok, sure."
