I'm going to make this chapter short because I just hurt my finger and it hurts so much to type. This maybe my last chapter for a while because I need to catch up on some work I have and I'm starting this new book that I am super excited about!

"So, how was the ice cream?" Zayn asked Perrie as he tried to get some of her ice cream, but she moved her cup before he could.

"It was actually pretty amazing, despite the name." Perrie's nose crunched in disgust. "Mountain Dirt? Why not just say chocolate chip with Oreo cookies?"

Zayn's laugh rang in Perrie's ear and she couldn't help, but join in with him. It had taken Zayn a lot of convincing to get Perrie to get ice cream with him after their very serious talk. Perrie was so tempted to turn the offer down, but she still cared about Zayn and even though she didn't want to admit it she wanted to spend time with him.

He had brought her to his favorite all ice cream parlor near the studio. The walk there had been filled with laughs and jokes on both parts. It was as if after the talk they moved past the awkward stage they were in. Her heart filled with join at being able to talk to him again because even after what happened Zayn had been Perrie's best friend for years.

"Okay, so maybe the name isn't the best, but it has potential." Zayn joked, his smile radiating happiness that made Perrie feel better.

After she had told him that she was having feelings for someone else a light went out in his eyes and it hurt her so much because she never wanted to cause him pain. Yet, she knew deep down that she did have feelings for someone, Ciro.

"I guess we'll have to rename it."

Perrie brought her free hand to her chin and let it rest there while she tried thinking of a name. All the while she could feel Zayn looking at her with a look so full of love it made butterflies go off in her stomach, but she pushed the feeling aside.

"Perrie's Rocky Road Adventure." Perrie said at last, her voice filled with glee with  each word.

Zayn simply laughed, his eyes never leaving Perrie's. "I love it."

Once they finished their ice cream they left the parlor and in the cover of the night they headed to the nearest park they could find. Perrie had a thing for nature. She just loved the feeling of being outside because it gave her the sense of being free. Maybe that was why she loved Sevence so much. As they walked Perrie could feel Zayn's hand brushing hers and immediately crossed her arms.

"It's a beautiful night." Zayn said, his eyes on the sky filled with stars.

Perrie sighed. Memories of nights on the roof with Abriella and Ciro crossed her mind and she found herself saying, "They're more beautiful in Sevence. The night seems like the most amazing movie that you wish you could watch repeatedly."

"You really like that place." Zayn noted, a small smile on his lips told Perrie that he wanted to hear more.

"Like it? Zayn, I love that place." She practically shouted with joy.

Zayn uncrossed Perrie's hand and took it in his, his large hand fit perfectly with hers and she tried to ignore how familiar that felt.

"Tell me more about it."

So Perrie did. She told Zayn about the beautiful beaches that were as clear as the sky and the flowers that blossomed with such life it made everything seem unreal. The sun that kissed your skin while you walked on the sidewalks. Sevence was heaven for Perrie and she made sure to mention how it had earned a place in her heart.

"Abriella and Ciro showed me all the beauty of Sevence and I understood why they loved it so much. It's just," Perrie stopped for a minute as her heart filled with excitement and joy at the memories "Perfect."

"Abriella and Ciro?" Zayn asked, his voice mixed with a certain jealously that made Perrie's stomach turn upside down. "Are those the friends that you said you wish to see soon?"

Her response was simple. "Yes."

Zayn suddenly stopped and stood before her, their hands still intertwined. "Ciro?"

As if sensing where this conversation was going, Perrie took a deep breath and looked into Zayn's eyes. "I know what you want to know and yes, his name is Ciro. The other man I have feelings for is Ciro."

A flash of pain crossed Zayn's face, but he was quick to hide it. An uncomfortable silence swept over them and Perrie wished they hadn't had this conversation.

She tugged a strand of her brown hair behind her ear; the wind seemed like it wanted it out of place. She did this multiple times and soon she grew annoyed.

Zayn's chuckle reminded her that he was still with her. "You're not used to short hair, are you?" He moved closer to Perrie until they were inches apart.

They were so close to each other that Perrie could see the flicker of honey in his eyes. Every common sense she had was telling her to turn around and walk home, yet something inside of her didn't want to listen.

Remember the pain. Remember the pain he caused you. She tried reminding herself, but when she looked into his eyes all that went away and she was lost again.

"God, you are so beautiful." Zayn said in a low,  husky voice that send chills own her spine.

"Zayn." Perrie breathed, every warning signal had been going off in her head, but she couldn't stop looking at those eyes she once loved so much.

"I love you, Perrie."

Before she could say anything else Zayn grabbed Perrie by her hips and pulled her closer to him, their lips glazing each other. He leaned in and with that gave her the kind of kiss that took her breath away.

Stop this. Her mind said, but she wasn't sure she wanted to.

Zayn kissed her, his hands still on her hips and after a while Perrie finally gave in. She could feel the smile on Zayn's face when she responded. Their lips moved in sync, so familiar to each other. Perrie lost herself in the kiss as she moved her hands and ran them through his soft black hair.

Nothing seemed to matter to them in that moment. Maybe consequences be damned, Perrie thought.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! They kissed! How exciting! Well, as I was going back into my earlier chapters I realized I was sort of dragging this along and I was like "What the hell. Let them have one cute moment!". So yeahhhh. Plus, the last chapter was a little but of a hope drainer but fear not this chapter was suppose to help.

Anyhow, I hope this satisfies you guys some, I don't know, a couple days or weeks while I try to get my life together.

I love reading your comments and all the wonderful things you have to say.

Until next time,

lots of love
