Nothing scared Perrie more than heights. Just the uneasy feeling in her stomach made her want to run back to land. She never knew how she became scared of them, all she knew was that the feeling of falling down a great height scared the life out of her.Standing on Harry's balcony, Perrie feel that uneasy feeling seeing as how the railing side of it was made entirely out of glass and the view was fifteen stories tall. The floor was made out of dark grey marble and it made her feel a little better, but not much.
"You are not going to fall, Perrie. I've told you not to worry." Harry laughed once he saw the look on her face. She send him a look that soon made his laugh disappear.
"I hate heights, Harry. Can we talk inside?"
"Abriella told me that in Sevence you used to go to this cliff near the sea and you weren't scared. How come you're scared here?" Harry asked as he poured lemonade into his glass.
Perrie sighed and began to play with her hair. "Sevence was a different place, there was something peaceful about it that I guess I wasn't scared." She reached across the small table that was in front of her and grabbed her phone. She turned it on and went through all the photos she had on Sevence. "Look," She called to Harry to come stand besides her, " It's beautiful."
Harry stared at the images and a smile soon appeared on his smile as they came across a photo of Ciro, Abriella, and Perrie sitting in front of the plaza with big smiles on their faces. "You look so happy in these photos."
She turned to look at him, "I'm happy now."
His eyebrows furrowed and he stared at her for a moment longer. "Are you sure? So much has happened since Zayn released that song." Perrie looked away and avoided looking at him. "You've been receiving so much hate lately and it's not fair."
"I don't know what you want me to do," She said, walking back inside of Harry's apartment. "I don't want drama, I never have, but it seems to follow me no matter what I do. Zayn's fans hated me when I was with him and they hate me now because they think I used him."
Perrie walked to Harry's kitchen and open the refrigerator, grabbing a water bottle and setting it on the counter. "I mean, it seems like no matter what I do, they'll always find a reason to hate me."
Perrie heard Harry walk up behind her and took a seat on one of the stools by his table. "I hate it. You don't deserve any of it."
She sighed and took a seat next to him, her eyes not daring to meet his as she confessed what happened to her yesterday morning. "It used to really affect me, I mean when we first started dating it hurt me more than I let on because they attack me on everything. They would call me fat, an attention seeker, talent less, a whore, a good-for-nothing gold digger." She cleared her throat as the images of all those nights crying after reading their harsh comments on twitter and Instagram made tears in her eyes.
Harry took her hand and with his other he lifted her face so that she would look at him. To her surprise tears were in his, too. "You are the most amazing person I have ever met, Perrie. I love your heart and the love you have for those around you, even those that have hurt you, and I wish I could take all that pain away."
His words touched her heart and she wiped away the tears that had fallen at his words. "They really hurt me, Harry, and they only got worse when he released his song."
"I know."
"It got worse yesterday, Haz." She cried as she leaned into his shoulder and told him the events of yesterday.
A wave of pain hit her as she thought about that morning when she logged on to twitter and saw all the horrible things people were calling her. Perrie tried to ignore them, but they got harsher by the second until she couldn't take it anymore and she had to log off.
