The warm summer sun kissed Perrie's pale skin as she walked down the street with Abriella, locked in arms. The city buzzed with life around them as they made their way back to Perrie's apartment from the mall. The past five months had been a fun and stress free for Perrie having her three closest friends by her side. Abriella had moved in with her as soon as Perrie had asked her too, but Ciro had accepted Harry's offer instead. Perrie was confused at first but she knew that after her talk with Zayn five months ago Ciro wanted his distance from the disaster that was her love life.
She couldn't blame him and was actually glad he wasn't staying with her because she enjoyed staying up late with Abriella just talking about girl things. It felt great for Perrie having someone who she would talk to about all she felt inside. Harry had been doing the same, but Abriella was a new mind and therefor had new opinions for Perrie.
She was happy.
For the first time in a long time she was actually at peace.
"I hate the heat in this city!" Abriella said, her Italian accent became thicker with every word she said. She walked through the apartment door and settled her bags down on the chair closest to the door. Her long black hair was how shoulder length and highlighted her delicate cheekbones. She looked beautiful, no wonder Harry was crushing on her.
Oh, and Abri was also crushing on him. It was obvious the two of them felt something no matter what they told Perrie; she could see it in their eyes whenever they were in the same room.
"I do too, but you get used to it." Perrie sighed, letting the cool air from her apartment settle on her. She walked over to the refrigerator, grabbed two waters and handed one to Abri.
"It's days like this that I understand why Ciro wants to return to Sevence."
Perrie stopped dead in her track and looked up at her friends, who had chosen to say on the white couch in front of the t.v. "He wants to leave?"
Abriella looked up and Perrie knew her face showed the pain she felt because Abriella's face soften at the words.
Before either of them could continue the conversation the door bell rang.
Perrie pointed a finger in Abri's direction as she walked to the door, "We will talk about this later."
Perrie opened the door before Abriella could say anything else. Two familiar men stood before her and a smile spread across her face.
"Pez! Hey!" Harry shouted as he took Perrie in his arms and spun her around.
She giggled like a little girl in his arms until he finally put her down. Harry grabbed her face in his hands and pressed her cheeks together. Perrie slapped his hands away as fast as she could.
"I am not a child!" She laughed.
"Oh, but you sure act like one." Harry responded. He burst into laughter at Perrie's reaction, her mouth was wide open at his surprise response.
"When she wants to," A deep voice said from behind her and Perrie couldn't help the smile that appeared on her face, she missed smiling this much.
"Ci." Perrie walked past Harry and into Ciro's arms. She nuzzled her head in his chest and Ciro wrapped his arms around her, his chin placed on top of her head. "I missed you."
Perrie could feel the low chuckle that came from Ciro as she leaned closer into his chest. His sent of forest pine and the ocean engulfed her and Perrie didn't think she could get enough. Perrie lost track of time until she heard Harry force a cough to break up the moment.
