I know I haven't updated in almost a year and I'm sorry. It was a tough 2016 but my New Years resolution for 2017 was to continue writing. I have several chapters that are almost complete but I never got to finish them and I plan on working on them now. Play the song (: enjoy!!

"Zayn! I don't think you're suppose to do that!" Perrie shouts to the man running through the water with a smile dancing on his lips, but the words bounce off him as he continues . The water shoots into the sky from the ground and begin to intertwine with each other. As the drops meet they fall to the ground and onto those below them. 

The park was empty, apart from the couple that stood by the fountain. Perrie ran to join Zayn in the center of the fountain as the water fell around them. Zayn grabbed Perrie by her hips and pulled her closer to him until they were centimeters from each other. Their eyes locking in that moment as a thousand words were shared between them without either of them having to say anything. 

"You're so cheesy, Zayn!" Perrie says as she looks at the world around her, her arms moving until they were wrapped around Zayn's neck. 

He looks down at her, smiling"but it's fun being cheesy."

Perrie playfully punches his arm causing a smile to appear on his face, "but now we're soaking wet."

 "It's worth it. Thank you for coming. I needed to distract myself."

Perrie held him tighter as if afraid this was a dream,"Always Zayn. I love you."

Zayn pulls back from the hug and rests his head on hers, his brown eyes staring into her blue ones.

"And I love you, Perrie."

"Perrie, darling wake up." Someone whispers as they gently shake Perrie awake. 

"Zayn?" Perrie asks in her morning voice, out of instinct. 

"Uh, no. It's me, Jade." Perrie's eyes open in surprise and it takes he a moment to realize where she was. She found Jade staring at her, her eyebrows frowning in a worried manner.

"Where you dreaming about him again?"

What is she talking about? Perrie wondered as she sat up in her bed, stretching away the sleep. 

"Were you dreaming about Zayn, Perrie?"

Zayn. Zayn Malik.

And suddenly reality seemed to hit her. He broke up with her three weeks ago.

Waking up this morning Perrie forgot about her breakup with Zayn even if it was for a split second. For a split second she forgot the pain. Just for a second everything seemed fine.
