Having your heart broken by someone you thought loved you is the the most painful feeling in the world, but what hurts the most is thinking that everything is fine when in reality it couldn't be farther from.

 Perrie knew the look on Gigi's face because she had spent month staring at the same reflection and she knew there was nothing she could say to make that go away. She didn't know if Gigi knew about the kiss or the fact that Perrie still loved Zayn, but she knew Gigi was hurting because of her. 

"How dare you?" Gigi sneered, hatred dripping from her voice as she stood in front of Perrie and her eyes held back nothing. "You and him ended. He broke up with you! You left the country to forget him and I thought that you would, but you came back and destroyed my relationship. I have done nothing to you, Perrie. I respected you." 

The knot in Perrie's throat seemed to tighten and she struggled to find the words to explain everything that had happened. 

"You think I'm so stupid I wouldn't notice that night when Zayn came back smelling like a women? You think I didn't realize the light that came back to his eyes since that night? That light that I couldn't bring out of him even though he was the one that made me fall in love with him?" Tears now streamed down Gigi's face and her clear eyes were glassy. 

"Gigi, I am so sorry-" 

"What the hell is sorry going to do now? The whole world just saw how much you two still love each other. It wasn't enough that you and him cheated you had to do it in front of the whole world too!" The pain in her eyes was replaced with a rage that made Perrie's heart shrink not because she was scared, but because she knew that feeling too well. 

"What's going on?" A deep voice said from behind Perrie and both of the women turned to look at Harry standing by Zayn's side. Both of them looked between the two women and within an instant they both realized what was happening. 

Perrie raced for Harry's side out of instinct and grabbed his arm,  hoping that in a way his safety would rub on her. Zayn looked at her, his hazel eyes softened when he saw the tears falling down her face.

"Can you at least pretend you don't love her in front of me?" Gigi cried and all three pair of eyes turned to look at her. 

Zayn was by her side in second trying to reach for her, but Gigi flinched when he got near her. "Don't," Was all she said. 

"Gigi, what's going on?" Harry asked,  his grip on Perrie's arm tighten because he already knew the answer to that question. 

"You know what happened Harry." 

Silence filled the room and no one dared to break it. 

Within a few moments Perrie knew what she had to do and in her heart she knew it would hurt her more than anything, but she had no other choice. She didn't want to lie anymore or cause anyone anymore pain because that was all she had managed to do since she got back from Sevence. 

"I know you hate me and you have every right to do so Gigi. I hate me, too." Perrie took a step forward and let out a breath. "I never meant to hurt you I was just confused because I didn't know what or  who I wanted." Her eyes moved to met Zayn's. " You're right. I love him. I tried  not to, but I do. I realize now what an idiot I was to think that nothing truly had changed. But you were with him and I ignored that because I'm selfish and weak. But I never ever meant to hurt you, Gigi." 

Gigi didn't respond as if she was at lose of words that Perrie was admitting everything. A thousand words went through Perrie's head before she calmed down enough to say anything.
