"Lucy, can you pass me the folder on the shelf? " sabi ko. She groaned for I disturb her precious time with her phone but she stood up nonetheless and went to the shelf.

"Which one? " she asked

"The blue one"

"Uh, which blue? " sabi nya ulit. May dalawang kulay blue syang hawak na folder. I sighed

"The darker" sabi ko bago ko ipinapatuloy yung ginagawa ko.

She handed it to me, akala ko aalis na sya pero ng stay pa sya sa tabi ko.

"Uh... You need something?" I asked

"Actually yes, I need your gratitude" sarcasm in her voice.

Hinampas ko sya sa binti "Ouch! " she said "Salamat, so bumalik ka na sa phone mo gaga. May ginagawa pa ako" sabi ko.

"Para saan ba yan? " tanong nya.

"Club project. Since malapit na ang Art week nag assign na ng gagawin yung club president" I answered.

"I didn't know there's gonna be an art week" she said as she sat down beside me.

"It's because you weren't reading the school manual" I said. Napataas yung kilay nya.

"You actually read the whole book? " she asked. "Ang haba nun at boring basahin." I giggled

"Actually, I didn't read it whole, just some interesting pages that got my eyes, and this weekly club activities is one of it" I said. Masyadong mahaba yung manual, kahit ako tatamarin rin sa pagbabasa e.

"O really? " she said "What else is in there? " Kinuha ko yung manual sa drawer ko.

"What club are you in? " tanong ko.

"Well, apparently they listed my name on Pastry club. " she answered. Tinignan ko yung part kung saan nakalagay yung pastries.

I found it and showed it to her. She gasped and seems so mesmerized. "Wow, hindi ko alam na ganto kabongga to. Look at all the cakes, they look so so good. " I nodded. Kinuha nya sa akin yung libro. She flipped over pages, gasped all the time she found something wonderful. "Kelan kaya to? I can't wait to get my hands covered with sweets" she said, full of excitement. Kinuha ko yung libro.

Tinuro ko yung date ng event which is tapos na. "Unfortunately, your week was on the first month of the school year" sabi ko. She pouted.

"The heck, I was so excited. Hindi ko na mararanasan yan since gagraduate na tayo. Such luck huh? "

"Aw Lucy, don't worry, you can take culinary courses for college." I said.

She sighed "Ahh, nevermind" she said as she tied her hair. "Ano bang naassign sayo?" Sabi nya bago nya tinignan yung mga ginagawa ko. Hinablot nya yung isang papel namuntik na mapunit.

"Hey be careful, ipaulit ko sayo yan e" sabi ko. Natawa sya "Pwede naman kung pinagkakatiwalaan mo yung skills ko sa pagdadrawing" she chuckled

"On the second thought, no thanks. Give me that! " hinablot ko sa kanya yung papel. Napataas sya ng kilay.

"Akala ko ba ingatan yan" sabi nya. "Yeah, kaya ko nga kinuha sayo e" sabi ko bago ko nilapag ulit sa table yung papel. Pero kinuha nya ulit. Tapos tumayo sya at itinaas yung kamay nya na may hawak ng papel. Since mas matangkad sya sakin, nahirapan akong kunin.

"Lucy, give it back!" I said as I try to jump for the paper. She raised it higher kaya walang pag asa na makuha ko yun, tinatawanan nya ako ng malakas kaya naisipan ko na magpretend na naiinis ako. I stopped reaching out for it and returned to my table.
