Lauren

"Lauren Jane Hermosa" All I heard was the heart inside my chest beating so fast and loud.  I cannot believe I'm about to climb up the stairs with wearing my gown. I look over my fellow classmates who's about to graduate too one last time.  The smile was tattooed on my face the entire time I was walking.  And now here I am on the center of the stage, shaking hands with the teachers and lastly the principal who handed my diploma. "Congratulations" he said. "Thank you" I answered before grabbing the dimploma. I looked at the rolled paper in my hand, before looking at my parent's. They're clapping their hands.  My mom shed tears, I know it's tears of joy for I have accomplished another mission in my life. I wave at them with my hand holding the dimploma.  They wave back, before I descend the stairs.

La Verde Academy.

Yung lugar kung saan hindi ko aakalain na magtatapos ako. This place was unexpected. Pero hulog ng langit dahil nakilala ko si Sky, we've been together for two months.  Yup, she's my girlfriend and it's official. My dad was the first one to know about us pero support lang daw sya, nung nalaman naman ni Mama medyo nagulat sya kaya nag explain ako.  She listened and fortunately understood what I said. Support lang din daw sya sa gusto ko.  I didn't know Sky is bisexual until she asked me out.  And since kailangan ko ng inspiration para sa mga piece ko, in-accept ko yung offer nya.  We hang out,  became really close and fell in love.  Yes, I love her and she love me.  That's how it works. 

Nakita ko sya na naghihintay sa akin sa labas kasama yung Mommy nya after ng ceremony, I am with my Parents. She kissed me when I was closed enough and I kissed back.  She wrapped her hands around my neck and whispered "Congratulations" I smiled. 

"Ahem" kunwaring ubo ni Daddy, humiwalay na ako kay Sky, we're both smiling like an Idiot.

"Cupcake!!!! " Lillian run to me.

"Hey there Pancake" sabi ko bago kami ng high five.

"Good Evening Mrs. Dominguez" bati ni Daddy sa Mommy ni Sky, tumango sya bago ibinalik yung pagbati.

"Good Evening to you too Mr and Mrs Hermosa, you both look so fine" she complimented.

"And so are you "Mom said.  They seemed to get along well.

Nag usap pa sila ng konti bago kami niyaya magdinner sa labas.

"You don't have to look at all the dishes when you're going to end up with sweet and sour again" Sky stated when she notice I was pretending to look throughout the menu of this diner. I chuckled.

"Sky's right. Puro ka nalang sweet and sour e. Mind trying anything" sabat ni Lilly, aba't pinagtulungan pa nila ako?

"I'm just looking for something new to try, but none got my taste so sweet and sour it is"

Tinawag na ni Daddy yung waiter para kunin yung mga orders namin.  Pagkatapos kunin nung waiter yung mga orders, Nagkwentuhan muna kami. Random stuffs like, what are we gonna take for college, kung saan kami mag aaral.  We haven't officially decided though, may sapat na oras pa kami para makapag isip.  Mga ideas lang yung topic namin kaya no pressure. And me myself is still confuse of what course am I going to get. Meron akong plano pero hindi pa maayos masyado.  I want to take Entrepreneurship course, I really want to start my own business in the future. But I also want to take Fine Arts.  This what makes me confused. Either of them will do.  I want to think about it thoroughly.

I snapped out of my thoughts when Sky touches my legs.

"Okay ka lang? "

Napapikit pikit ako bago sumagot "Yeah? Just thinking"
