Lauren
Lahat ng mata ng mga tao na nasa paligid ko ay nakatuon sa akin. Siguro iniisip nila na bakit kaya may isang umiiyak na dalagang nakagown sa kalagitnaan ng gabi. May mga mata na punong puno ng awa at mga matang gustong humalakhak dahil sa itsura ko. Malamang nagkalat na yung eyeliner ko dahil kanina pa ako punas ng punas ng luha ko.
Hindi ko na alam kung gaano ako katagal naglalakad. I don't mind the pain my feet causing due to the fact that I was wearing heels.
Ramdam ko ang lamig ng hangin lalo na at naka sleeveless ako. I shivered as goosebumps spread across my arms. Tumingin tingin ako sa paligid, looking for a shelter to stay overnight or at least a cafe to get hot coffee.
There was a cafe across the street, kaya tumawid ako. A scent of strong coffee filled my nostrils as I entered the cafe. The scent somehow managed to calm me despite it's strong aroma.
Dumiretso ako sa comfort room para ayusin yung make up ko. I looked at myself on the mirror. Gosh, I looked horrible. I can't even see the Lauren before the party started. Before the confessions and before the most mortifying event happened.
I sighed "Suck luck I have".
Kinuha ko yung foundation sa purse ko para ayusin yung muka ko. Yung eyeliner para matakpan yung namamaga kong mata kahit papano. Tsaka nude lipstick para hindi mahalata yung labi kong namumula kakaiyak. Lumabas na ako ng cr ng makita kong maayos na ulit yung itsura ko .
I took a seat beside the wall. The seat was for 2 person but I don't mind sitting alone. I saw the waitress walking towards me.
She smiled. "Good Evening Ma'am, may I take your order? "
I looked at the menu. "Yes, I'll have the Sugar-free Vanilla Caffe Latte"
"Is there anything you want to add? "
"No, just the coffee"
"On it's way ma'am" then she left.
Tinignan ko yung phone ko habang naghihintay. A lot of missed calls and messages from Taylor, Lucy and Sofia. Binasa ko isa isa
"San ka nagpunta?"
"Lauren, do you want to talk?"
"Please be safe, don't do anything stupid"
"Lauren, please go home, we'll be waiting"
-Sofia
"Bitch, where the hell are you!? "
"Don't run off like that! Where are you!? "
"Sagutin mo yung phone dammit! "
"Sofia is worried sick, go home already"
"Lauren! If you don't come home tonight until midnight I'm going to look at your sketch pad ;)"
-Lucy
"Where are you going? "
"Hey, I know what you feel, want to talk about it? "
"Hihintayin ka namin dito sa condo, mag iingat ka pag uwi. And btw, Lucy said na kapag wala ka pa dito mamayang 12pm, kukuhanin nya daw yung sketchpad mo"
-Taylor
I smiled, akala ko galit sila. Akala ko nandidiri sila but it was the opposite. I was glad I get to have friends like them. Kaunti nalang ang mga tunay na kaibigan sa panahon ngayon. Kaya I think gifted ako pagdating sa friendship.
"Here's your coffee Ma'am" I heard the waitress said. Inilapag nya yung coffee sa table.
"Thank you" I smiled.
"Please enjoy" she smiled before she left again.
Matapang na Vanilla, but at the same time matamis. Masarap at tamang tama ang lasa. I looked at my phone again para tignan yung oras.
10:56pm I guess I have to go home.
Lumabas na ako ng cafe, naghintay ng cab oara sakyan pauwi. May cab na nagbaba ng oasahero sa harap ng cafe kaya pinara ko na. Dito na ako sumakay.
20minutes past ng makarating ako sa condo. Binayaran ko yung driver ng sobra kaya umalis syang nakangiti.
"Good Evening Miss Hermosa" the guard greeted me as I enter the building. Nginitian ko sya. Dahan dahan akong naglakad papuntang elevator.
Ping! Tunog ng elevator. Here I go, for sure gising pa sila. Sabi rin kasi nila hihintayin nila ako. Hindi ko alam kung bakit ako kinakabahan, alam ko naman na na hindi sila galit e. Pero kinakabahan parin ako.
I typed the password on the door.
"Oh my God Lauren!" sinalubong ako ni Sofia. "Akala ko kung ano ng nangyari sayo! " sabi nya.
"I'm.... Fine Sof " I said.
"Is Lauren home? " sigaw ni Lucy mula sa 2nd floor
"She's here! " sagot ni Sofia
Tumakbo sya pababa sa amin "Bitch, where did you go!? " she said. She was obviously worried but hindi nya yun pinapahalata.
"I needed some time alone"
Nakita ko na rin si Taylor galing ng kusina.
"Are you okay? " She asked
"Yes, I think so" No, I'm not okay. Nagulat ako ng bigla akong niyakap ni Sofia.
"Your face tell the otherwise" she said. That's when I realize I am crying. I can't hold it anymore. I broke down. In front of them.
"Oh Lauren" sabi ni Sofia.
"I'm so-sorry guys." I said through the tears .
"Wala kang dapat ihingi ng tawad, kung tungkol yan sa pagkatao mo wag kang mag alala. Walang magbabago. Kaibigan mo parin kami. " Sabi ni Sofi.
"Tsaka kung iniisip mo yung mangyayari sa school, we'll protect you at all cost. Hindi namin hahayaang may mang api sayo " Dagdag ni Lucy
"Kaming bahala sayo, we promised to stay with each other sa parent's natin bago tayo pumunta dito diba? So don't worry" Taylor said.
"And just so you know, no matter what happens, we're proud of you ." Sofia said.
Lahat sila niyakap na ako. Hindi ko mapigilan yung luha ko sa pag agos. I was so blessed to have this humans in my life.
Pero hindi parin ako sigurado sa mga mangyayari sa school sa pagpasok namin. Hindi naman kasi sa lahat ng oras kasama ko sila e. May mga klase ako na mag isa lang ako. Lalo na yung first class. I suddenly don't want to attend arts class anymore.
"Aww, enough with the drama. We might win a Grammy awards if we continue this. Let's go eat my cupcake instead. I'm hungry! " Lucy joke.
We all laughed.
"I love you guys" I said.
