A week after Ben's speech:
Ben's POV
The day was finally here: the new students would arrive! I was nervous and excited at the same time. This was a historical day in Auradon and I had to represent my kingdom well. I decided that nothing could ruin this day and briskly did my morning routine. It was time to find Mal.
I ended up finding her from lockers, "Hey, here you are", I said hugging Mal behind, "I'm glad that it isn't rainy today", I stated admiring the cloudless sky.
"Ah, hey you", Mal just simply answered, "A big day, huh?" she teased me knowing I was more than excited about the new arrivals, "Speaking of which I have to change my clothes before they'll arrive. You want to come with me?" I blushed to her question. She started to giggle.
"Not like that. You just seem so nervous, like you need something to do... Evie's there so she can keep you compny while I change my clothes", she couldn't stop laughing, "You're just so cute when you blush." After kissing my cheek tenderly she took my hand and started to lead me towads the dorms.

Before I knew I already sat between Evie and a pile of clothes which were pretty much all she got in her varderobe. Evie didn't seem to mind the mess after getting Mal what she called "the perfect outfit".
Evie tilted her head to look at me asking, "What do you think about Jay? Does he really have a crush on that snow princess?"
"Well, I think he at least hides something..." I said knowing Evie too well to know she wanted to gossip with me.
"Like what?" she exclaimed eyes wide.
"I'm not sure at all... was there something in Isle which might explain that?"
Evie shook her head. "Oh wait!" she said suddenly, "There was something... maybe... my memories are so unclear... why can't I remember?" she sounded shocked.
"Maybe you've just got used to the life in here already. Your mind is automatically shutting out the bad memories", I suggested.
"Maybe you're right... But there was something, I just can't get it", she hesitated not wanting to let go of it.
I furrowed my eyebrows, "Or maybe this's something different... sounds like something is blocking your memories", I hypothesized and started to think the case. Mal came out of the bathroom.
"Wow, you look absolutely beautiful", I sighed. She wore an emrald green dress, her hair in a little bun in the top of her head and she also had a green bow in her hair which matched with the dress.
