I woke up only to notice I was really late from my first class. I hopped up only to see Carlos' bed empty. He had left to the class without waking me up. I huffed grabbing the first clean clothes from my varderobe I saw. I ran to the corridor as soon as I got ready hoping I wouldn't get any serious troubles from running late.

Stepping into the classroom I was already out of my breath from all the hurrying. I had history class first in the morning every.single.day. Everyone was staring at me but I didn't care... until... I saw Elaina in the classroom and suddenly I felt really embarrassed.
"Jayden, this wasn't the first time... even in this week, we'll discuss this after the lesson", the teacher said significantly, "We have changed the places. You sit next to Elaina. Take your seat and try not to interrupt my teaching from now on", she ordered.
I bet my face changed colour as I kept my eyes clued on the floor and started to walk toward my new seat. I wasn't usually like this, I never went speechless. What was wrong with me? But at the moment I couldn't think anything but how I didn't gave a good first-impression to Elaina. But I just didn't like history... or mornings.
I sat next to her sighing before meeting her eyes again, "Well, did I miss anything?" I asked as I felt the courage flooding back in me.
"No actually, we just introduced ourselves", she referred to new students.
"Oh, that was for sure something I would've wanted to see", I grinned. She blushed. I gave me more courage, she might actually like me back. She was one big question mark but if I loved anything it was challenges. She was just so fascinating...

I felt uncomfortable next to Jay. First he asks me some questions pretending to pay attention but then he just zones out in his own thoughts. I wondered what he was thinking about.
Being uncertain about something was one of the feelings I hated most. And every time I spent time with Jay that uncertainty creeped to my mind somewhere. The worst thing about it was that no matter how much uneasy the situation was he made me feel something else too. It was hard to decide did I enjoy or despice those meetings more. After all, I fancied him, I couldn't deny that anymore. Suddenly the bell rang interrupting my speculation and the class ended.

I was just putting some books to my locker when Evie and Lonnie came up to me.
"Hey!" I said and smiled.
"Hi! How's your first school day?" Evie smiled back to me.
"I'm fine. This is actually kind of fun!" I answered to her.
