5 ~ At the First Sight...

Elaina's POV

I felt Jay's eyes on me but I was too scared to turn look at him. My heart started to beat faster. What was wrong with me? Was I falling for that villain just after meeting him for the first time? Now way! I winced when Ben suddenly started to speak.

"Mal and I apologize but we really need to leave you now", he said and grabbed Mal's hand, "But you don't need to worry. These three will show your dorms", Ben continued and winked to the Jay. Jay shook his head quickly. What was going on?

"So all of you have separate dorms and your own roommates too. Evie will show yours Nigel, Carlos Pandora's and Jay Elaina's", Ben explained.

I begged myself not to start blushing. It was going to be just fine. My new, hot villain crush was just about to show me my dorm room. That was it, nothing more, nothing to get too excited about. I was just going to be alone with this good-looking man who happenned to be very flirtatious. I sighed, turned to look at Jay and started to follow him through random hallways. There wasn't anyone else in there and I felt chills go down my spine. There really was just the two of us.

"You don't have to be scared", Jay said smirking, "I'll protect you."

"Really?" I said sarcastically and raised my eyebrow, "Why I would I be afraid? Should I worry about you?"

"No, of course not!" he almost yelled, "Wait, your hands are shaking", he grabbed my hands and I quickly pulled him out of me. He frowned in confusion.

"Sorry, it's not you... I just can't... I mean..." I stuttered.

"No, you don't have to explain. I understand it's hard to trust on a villain, I'm sorry", Jay said with a guilty look.

"No, truly, it's not because of you", I started to tell, "It's from my mom... It was really hard her to trust anyone. We're so alike." I didn't mean to open up for a stranger, especially when the stranger happens to be my crush but the words just slipped from my mouth.

"Really, you don't have to be afraid of me. I don't want to hurt you", Jay said to me, "Oh, this is your dorm."

"Thank you", I blushed and smiled at him.

"Okay then... See you later", Jay grinned when I closed the door.

Jay's POV

She was more than amazing! I had just gotten back in my and Carlos's dorm room. Okay, okay, I knew that it could have gone better with her and she was a little unapproachable but still... Could she have some feelings for me? She might. I smiled myself. Then I heard someone laughing. I turned around and saw Carlos.

"What?" I asked.

"She must be really something when you're just sitting there looking like that", Carlos couldn't stop laughing.

"Please, stop it!" I groaned and stood up and started to walk out of the dorm.

"Jay, you won't get rid of us before you have told everything what happened today!" I heard Carlos's yelling after me.

Elaina's POV

I sighed and leaned against the door for what I thought was just a second when I realized there was a girl in front of me. The girl had long brown hair and very colorful clothes.

"Hey!" she said, "I'm Lonnie. Daughter of Mulan. I shared a dorm with Audrey but when I heard that there will be new students, I really wanted to change... You know she's a little bit..."

"...annoying", I continued and we both started to laugh.

"So, you have met her already... sorry, I can talk too much sometimes. Just say if you want me to stop", she said.

"No, it's fine. I think we'll be good friends", I smiled at her trying to be nice. I really wanted to make some friends. After a while of smiling I realized I hadn't said my name to her yet so I quickly added, "I'm Elaina, daughter of Queen Elsa", I kept smiling.

"Nice to meet you... And now, when we have introduced ourselves, you'll tell me who was that guy?", she smirked.

"Wait, what guy?" I tried to look confused.

"Please, don't play dumb. That guy who took you here. I saw your look when you leaned against the door, there must be someone... So start speaking", Lonnie giggled. I felt the blood greeping on my cheeks. "I knew it, you can tell me, I'm quite good when it comes to keeping secrets", she looked at me pleadingly.

I highly suspended that but decided to tell her anyway because she was my first real friend in here, "Okay then. But only because you wouldn't stop before I'll tell you everything... it's all about... Jay", I almost whispered his name but Lonnie heard it.

"Oh my gosh! You're into the school's number one player - in every meaning", Lonnie winked.

"I'm not even sure about my feelings and less about his feelings and I think that I have messed it all up anyway... What shall I do? We just met!!!" I started to panic.

"You don't need to worry, we'll ask Evie tomorrow. She knows everything about relationships", Lonnie said to me.

I shook my head, "Please, don't tell anyone", my voice started to shake too.

"Okay, okay, I swear", she said hand on her heart. For some reason I felt bad about her promises but decided to give her a chance and continued telling about myself. It was weird because for me it had always been hard to speak about myself but for some strange reason in Auradon I'd done many exceptions already during the first day.

Maybe this was after all a great decision to change school...
