Edward recalled what his brother told him the night before after Roy had claimed him, ''Go on with my life, Al says...'' He thought in the coffee shop as he worked, ''I don't know how he wants me to go on with my life...'' He started but paused when seeing Roy walk through the door at that moment making him sigh heavily. ''When he's my lover...'' The blonde finished to himself when seeing Roy smile at him playfully, making a face and walking to the counter when he came over to him, ''Even here you don't smile? I thought you would be more happier to see me.'' Roy said seeing the blonde's face twitch despite his flustered expression, ''Either you want something, or you don't hurry up there's people behind you.'' Edward said seeing Roy look at him surprised. ''Ed... What have I told you about being rude to customers?'' A voice said making Edward turn to see his blue eyed German co-worker looking at him in disappoinment making Edward make a face and look down, ''Sorry Alfons...'', ''I apologize for his behavior... Can we offer you a coffee of your choice on us?'' The blue eyed male asked to the raven haired male who just smiled casually making Edward's eye twitch in anger more seeing Roy glance over to him with a smirk. ''Of course.'',''Great, again I'm really sorry abourt his attitude Sir.'' The German said again before taking the customer behind Roy, with Roy smiling in content at the angered blonde, ''In that case... Surprise me~'' Roy said simply seeing Edward's eye twitch again before forcing a smile on himself, ''Of course... I'll have your order ready Sir.'' The blonde said with the blue eyed male looking at his Co-worker with a raised brow when Roy walked to the other side of the shop. ''Ed, You're never like that... Who is he?'' Alfons asked, ''He's definitely not human, I can say that.'' Edward replied with an annoyed huff making the German sigh before turning his attention back to the customer, ''Sorry about that... What would you like?'', ''Hey... What time do you come out?'' Roy asked going over to the annoyed blonde who appeared to making a caramel frappachino, ''...I leave in an hour.'' Edward replied. ''So you leave at Four?'', ''Did I stutter?'' Edward asked with an annoyed expression as he made the frappachino, ''That's perfect. Though to be completely honest Edward... Your friend looks so tempting to bite-'', ''Don't even think about it.'' Edward huffed cutting off the raven haired vampire who just grinned at him, "I'm joking... I only have eyes for you~'' Roy said grinning but paused when hearing a sudden cough from the kind German. ''Alfons... Maybe you should take a break.'' Edward said concerned turning to his co-worker who just looked at him with a smile, ''Maybe I should... Can you take over for me when you're done with your friend Ed?'' He asked seeing Edward nod and smile at him, ''Of course.'' The blonde said turning back to his lover who looked at him surprised for once, ''Alfons has health issues with his lungs, so he tries not to overwork...'' Edward said making a face topping off the caramel frappachino with whipped cream and extra caramel putting it on the counter, ''Here.''. ''I see...If he was like me, he wouldn't have to deal with that.'', ''Not everyone wants to live forever you know.'' Edward said looking at the raven haired male with serious look in his golden eyes, ''Enjoy that drink.'' He added before he walked away to the blue eyed male who just smiled at him saying something before he left, leaving Roy in silence but smile his new lover who smiled as he worked, sipping at the drink he made for him, surprised at how sweet it was. ''Did Ed at least make your drink without an attitude?'' Roy heard looking up to see the blue eyed male look down at him with a kind smile, ''Yeah, It's pretty good, thank you.'' Roy said casually seeing the German sit next to him, ''You're not from here are you?'', ''Haha... No... I'm from Munich, Germany. Though... You're looking at me like I look like someone familar...'', ''Actually yeah... You remind me of Edward's brother.'' Roy admitted with a laugh seeing the German laugh. ''Yeah... Ed tells me that a lot... I mean we do look alike and we have the same name... Mine is just spelled differently...'' Alfons said as Edward worked, ''Well it's not an insult so...'', ''Actually... I was curious about you.'' Alfons said seeing Roy look over to him with his dark, sharp eyes, ''Hmm?...'', ''For Ed to speak to you like that, you must know him...'', ''Yes actually, he's my...'' Roy started glancing over to Edward who was smiling as he worked. The raven haired male stayed silent surprised at how beautiful Edward looked when he smiled and laughed, with Edward turning at that moment and their eyes meeting making both males turn away from one another flustered making the German understand what he was about to say when seeing the scene, ''He's my-'', ''Don't. I understand now.'' Alfons cut in with a smile, ''That explains everything.'' He said with a small laugh. ''I didn't think someone as serious and grumpy as Ed, was dating somebody. That's a real surprise.'' The German said seeing Roy now smile nervously, ''That also explains why Ed got shy about the hickeys on his neck, and the bite on his lip the other day... He didn't want to talk about it.'' Alfons added with a laugh before coughing suddenly, ''Sorry...'', ''You should take it easy...'' Roy said till hearing Edward speak up. ''Didn't I say to take it easy Alfons!'', ''Right, right... Sorry.'' The blue eyed male said putting a hand over his chest smiling with a blush, ''I'll let you enjoy your drink... Ah...'', ''It's Roy Mustang.'' Roy said seeing Alfons smile more, ''It's nice to meet you, I'm Alfons Hiederich.'' The German introduced before excusing himself to get a bit of fresh air outside, ''He's really kind, and sincere....'' Roy said surprised at how kind some people were sipping at his coffee. ''Hey Rose, mind giving me a hand?'' Roy heard Edward call out turning to see Edward asking for help seeing a tanned girl, with dark hair, and dyed pink bangs come out with a smile, ''Of course Ed.'' She said with Roy making a face, ''He's a lot more popular than you thought?'' A voice said making Roy turn to see the German again smiling, ''...Sorry, I just saw you make a face the moment you saw Rose, and I had to tease.'' Alfons said walking back to help Edward and Rose since it suddenly got busy. ''...'', ''You belittle humans too much Roy, They're not all the same... I hope to God that you learn that being with Edward. I hope you learn to enjoy life, and realize that being Immortal isn't everything.'' Roy recalled what Riza said to him the night he basically claimed Edward as his lover, ''Yeah right... I have everything that I need, I don't need to be human to enjoy that...'' He mumbled making a face at the thought getting grumpy, never realizing his fangs had retracted out stabbing through the straw and getting stuck on it making a sound in annoyance. ''What is going on with my fangs lately?...'' The raven haired male thought with an annoyed frown, pulling the straw off and retracting his fangs back quickly before anyone had the chance to notice, ''Might want to work on that little problem.'' Roy heard Edward say looking over to see the blonde look at him as he worked on orders before screaming when the top off the blender came off and had the coffee fly all over him, ''No! Not again!'' The blonde said in a panic with Roy laughing to himself, ''Humans... Are interesting...''.
