''You've been staring at me this whole week, something on your mind Ed?'' Alfons asked happily with a smile towards his co-worker who seemed down and stressed out, ''...I was just noticing that you finally stopped coughing... That's all...'', ''Yeah, I went to get checked the day after I passed out, and the doctor told me that my lungs are better now by a miracle. Isn't it great?'' He said happily seeing Edward smile a bit tiredly, ''Really? That's great to hear Alfons.''. The German dropped his smile to a now worried expression at his co-worker glumness despite his smile, ''Ed... I haven't seen Roy around for a week... Are you two alright?'' He asked as they worked, ''To be honest I don't know...'' Edward said with a pained smile and laugh making Alfons go silent since he recalled seeing the bruise around his neck, ''Ed...'', ''I got him mad... He hasn't talked to me since the day with you...'' The long haired blonde said bummed out. ''Have you tried talking to him?'', ''No... I don't know if he wants to hear from me...'', ''How do you know, if you haven't tried.'' Alfons said in a now serious tone surprising Edward, ''Look if you really like someone, you would try your best to fix things with them, and understand them. Same goes with the other person.'' The German said simply going back to cashier leaving Edward quiet behind the counter making a face. ''Roy told me to tell you he was sorry.'' Edward recalled what Winry said to him the next day, ''Sorry for what.'', ''Sorry for the bruise on your neck. He told me what happened, he didn't sound like himself...'' He remininced back making a face remembering his brother's face after what she said, ''I didn't even try to understand him... I just reacted with my anger, instead of listening to what he had to say... I just don't understand why Alfons is better... Did he really save him?...'' Edward thought. ''That's impressive, most people can't take being immortal... You'll never age, but at the price of seeing everyone you know and love age, but you don't seem to care. I knew I didn't pick wrong. Good to know you understand the gift I gave you~'', '' The raven haired male recalled back at Riza's place while she was out with Winry and Pinako, He was deep in his black out trance biting his nails again making a face when thinking about Edward suddenly, putting his hands to his face scowling with his fangs showing, ''Fuck!''. The sudden outburst was enough to scare Hayate who jumped up, running over to Roy pawing his leg whimpering, snapping the raven haired male out of his distressed black out making Roy move his hand and look over to the small dog back to normal, ''Hayate?... What's wrong...'' Roy asked the whimpering dog who just jumped on him and licked his face, ''You're acting like something happened...'' Roy said holding Hayate in his hands making a face, ''Did I black out again?... No definitely not, I got over that years ago.''. ''...Hayate... I'm going out for a bit... I need some time to think...'' Roy said forcing a smile, ''I'm leaving my phone here okay?'' He said petting the small dog who just whimpered, ''I'll be fine don't worry, take care of Riza when she gets home.'' Roy said simply getting up to get ready and leave before his caretaker got home, ''I can walk around the beach or something...'' He muttered to himself with a sigh since he didn't feel like really coming back home. ''Roy, I'm back-?'' Riza started later on when she opened the door seeing Roy was gone, and her dog running to her, ''I don't think he's coming home tonight...'' She said making a face bag in hand closing the door behind her with a sigh when seeing his phone on the table, ''Hayate, what happened while I was gone... Did he have another one of his black outs... Cause he's been having them a lot more lately this week... He keeps saying her name too so... I think he wants to look for her...''. ''Edward! Before you go!'' A voice called out making Edward turn to see Rose running to him with a small bag in her hand, ''Can you give these to Roy for me, I'm hoping they'll cheer him up.'' She putting the bag in the blonde's hand, ''Yeah... Of course...'' He said with a forced tired smile, seeing the tanned girl look at him with her large amethyst eyes worried, ''Take care of Roy, he needs you.'' Rose said simply confusing Edward at the sudden words. ''Why won't he answer his damn phone!'' Edward thought when getting off the car to look for Roy at Riza's place, ''It's late, but I know he's home!'' The blonde thought when going up the stairs and going over to know on the door hearing footsteps and the door open quickly, ''Roy, where have you been, I've been worried sick!...'' Riza started but paused when seeing Edward standing at the door smiling at him, ''Ah... Edward...'' She said seeing Edward make a face. ''He asked you to play the part didn't he?... Because he's ignoring my calls and messages...''Edward said seeing Riza look at him concerned, ''No... He left without a word, and he left his phone, so he's not purposely ignoring you Edward...'' She said sighing, ''I don't want to say this but... He has a tendancy when he's down, to not come home...'' She said seeing Edward look at her down. ''I see...'' He said about to leave feeling Riza grab his wrist, ''Look for him on the beach. That's his favorite place to go when he's down. He may not be there considering the rain... But it's worth a shot... So... Be careful yeah?... It's really late...'' She said seeing Edward finally give a small smile, '' Yeah... Of course...'' He replied, ''Before you go...'' Riza said again looking at Edward with her brown eyes, ''I need to tell you about the night with your co-worker...''. ''The thing that makes Roy different from other vampires, is that his blood can save someone as well... That's why he wanted to bite your co-worker, because he knew he was sick, and he wanted him to live a longer life without turning him into a vampire, You understand now? It wasn't because he wanted to hurt you in any way...'' Edward recalled what Riza said making a face feeling worse, ''That's why he reacted the way he did...'' He thought putting his hand on his neck when he parked. ''This isn't exactly beach weather so... Why would he come here?'' He said stepping out into the rain looking up to see the pier lights despite it being empty getting a feeling that Roy was nearby, before turning when seeing a woman with long black hair walk on the pier and stop staring down at him with a smile that seemed like a smirk on her dark tinted lips, confusing the blonde who blinked and see she was gone, ''I must be losing it... But I think, I know where he's at...'' He said making his way up the stairs to the empty pier. Roy who was quiet sitting on top of the air hockey table, looking at the rain come down more than look over to air hockey table, recalling when he had first taken Edward out on a date, smiling to himself when remembering when Edward was teaching him to play Air Hockey, and they had kissed but dropped it when remembering he had left on bad terms with Edward sighing lighting his cigarette, ''You're useless on rainy days, Baby Dracula. I thought you would remember that.'' A familiar voice said making Roy turn to see Edward soaking wet from the rain, but look at him with a relieved smile, ''Ed... Ward?...'', ''I knew you would be here.''.
