''Who are you looking for?...'', ''A friend... A really good friend, that saw me like a big brother, that's all...'' Roy recalled after dropping Edward off at home, so he could take it easy after his breakdown, making a face in his car, leaning back with a heavy sigh, ''A big brother... A big brother... There's only one person I know who says they miss their big brother...'' Roy said, ''They also mention Al but... Can she be connected to them?...'' Roy thought conflicted. ''You're here without Roy?'' Alphonse asked when opening the door to see his brother sitting on the sofa, with the small kitten in his lap seeing his eyes were puffy from crying, ''Brother?...'' Al said sitting down next to Edward who made no attempt to hide the fact he was crying, with Alphonse seeing he was looking at the family album on the photo where it was him and Edward with both Trisha and Hohenheim when they were younger. ''The only photo with Dad in it?...I thought you hated dad...'' Alphonse asked confused, since he knew Edward despised their father, ''I thought so too...'' Edward said bluntly with a hard to read expression, ''...Brother... Did you bump into dad, while you were with Roy?...'' Al guess asked seeing Edward shake his head, ''How could have I bumped into him, when the last time we saw him was when I was Eighteen, and you were Seventeen...'' Edward said quietly. ''He left without a word from here after I went off on him for being a shitty father, if you didn't remember, I didn't even give you a chance to talk to him, but the only thing he told us was that he loved us, and that he was sorry...'' Edward said confusing Al more as to why his brother was acting so strange, ''I... I don't understand Brother...'' Al said seeing his older brother make a face with a pained expression in his golden eyes, as he looked at the picture again. ''...The old man died... He's right next to mom...'' Edward said with Al giving a surprised pained expression, ''What?...'', ''Roy took me to see his friend, so I decided to take him to see mom, and that's when I saw dads... The old mans grave next to moms.'' Edward continued making a face, ''He died the same year he had came to try and fix things with us... If I would of known he was going to die of a broken heart, I wouldn't have been so hard on him Al...'' Edward said pained. ''I said I didn't care, but Roy just grabbed me in a hug, and I just broke down... It's my fault... If I hadn't been a shitty brat, and just heard him out, maybe he'd still be here-'', ''Stop... It's not your fault...Maybe dad came around because he knew his time was coming to an end, and had to tell us that before he left... Have you thought of that?...'' Alphonse asked seeing Edward turn to him with a pained expression glancing down immediately. ''But...'', ''Dad is with mom now... So it's okay right?...'' Al said with a pained smile, despite obvious pain and tears in his darker golden eyes, ''Pinako probably knew, but decided to spare us the pain...'' He added with Edward getting more pained, ''...And I tried looking for her too... But I couldn't find her...'', ''Brother we haven't seen her since you were Fifteen and I was Fourteen... What makes you think she's still around?...'' Al asked paining Edward, ''...You're right Al... She's probably long gone with that terrible excuse father of hers...''. "I'm so hungry but..." Roy thought but paused feeling weak when walking around town to take his mind off things, "I haven't fed, or drank from those blood pouches Riza been bringing me... I've been hiding them, so she could think that I'm at least feeding of those..." The raven haired vampire thought making a face, ''I haven't even tried to bite Edward once...Why?...'' Roy said making a face, ''This is suicide... I need to feed or else I really will die...''. "I can't keep doing this but... I don't want this anymore... It hurts too much..." Roy thought grabbing against a wall to catch his balance huffing, "I don't deserve Edward... I don't deserve happiness..." The raven haired male thought deciding to walk off in the direction of the park, "My patience is growing thin in this relationship..." He said, while Rose was headed for the same direction since she was headed home sighing with a container of baked goods that were left over from the coffee shop. "Now I understand why Roy doesn't trust me..." The tanned girl thought walking through the park making a face, "But the fact that he wears a cross around his neck, and has it tattooed on his shoulder?... That must mean he has some faith left...?'' She thought before seeing Roy walk towards her direction but fall face first on the gravel, ''Fuck that hurt...'' Roy said making a face about to get up, but stop tensing up when seeing a familiar tanned  female kneeled in front of him, looking down at him with her large purple eyes. ''...You hurt yourself.'' Rose started reaching towards the raven haired male's bleeding forehead and cheek seeing him quickly sit up, and back up away from her, ''Don't touch me!...'' The raven haired male vampire said not wanting the other to touch his blood, seeing Rose make a face putting the container down, pulling out a handkerchief from her bag looking back to him holding it out towards him with a soft expression. ''Please, let me help you.''' She said seeing Roy hesitate with a conflicted scowl seeing his fangs for a moment before he looked away, ''You know people can only turn into a vampire, if they're bitten or drink it, but not by touching it.'' Rose said seeing the usually cold raven haired male turn to her surprised, making a face looking down till feeling Rose push the container towards him with the handkerchief on top of it. ''It's not blood, but it's something...'' She said but paused feeling like she was bothering Roy, ''... I'm sorry.'' The tanned girl said apologetically getting up till feeling Roy grab her wrist, seeing he had hurt arm too, ''...You know about me, yet you're still so nice to me?... Why?...'', ''Because friends are supposed to accept you for who you are, regardless of how different you are.'' Rose said simply with a smile seeing Roy scowl again. ''Now please... Let me help you, you don't want to worry Edward, do you?'' Rose asked with a raised brow and sigh, making Roy rememeber that Edward was already suffering enough from earlier's discovery in the cemetery deciding to let Rose help, ''This may sting a bit, maybe." Rose said patting the handkerchief on the raven haired males cheek after his forehead, seeing him wince pulling something else out of her purse, with Roy seeing it was a small first aid kit. "Do you have everything in there?" Roy asked seeing Rose laugh with a smile, "When you've worked with a clumsy German, and a hot head, that wants to fight for everything for as long as I have, you definitely learn to be prepared to carry everything possible." She said quickly disinfecting both his forehead and cheek, patching them up surprising Roy at how kind Rose was to him. "Show me your arm." She said doing the same to his arm when Roy held his arm wondering why she wasn't questioning him, "Rose I...'', ''It's okay, Roy I understand.'' Rose said simply with a smile after she finished, ''No... Hear me out...'' Roy said seeing Rose look at him with a concerned, but attentive expression, ''It's about Edward... I...'' The raven haired vampire started but paused making a face, not wanting to tell the other he wasn't being honest with Edward. ''Edward has lost a lot of people in his life... He's been though a lot... That's why he's so closed when it comes to emotions. But I'm sure you know that, since he likes you a lot.'' Rose said sitting and looking forward opening the container of baked goods, and grabbing a brownie taking a bite into it, ''...How could you tell...'' Roy asked seeing the container pushed towards him silently by the tanned female. ''By the look in his eyes, and the way he talks about you... The way he protects you constantly, that's how I can tell.'' Rose said pausing for a moment glancing over to home with a raised brow, ''Can't you tell?" She asked seeing Roy glance away flustered eating a brownie, "...I can... It's just that...", "Do you not like Edward?" Rose asked seeing the other look at her guiltily, "To be honest... I don't know...''Roy answered quietly. ''You don't know?... I don't believe that.'' She said with a serious expression, ''You know what I think, Roy?'' Rose said making Roy turn back to him, ''I think you're afraid, I think you're falling in love with him, and that's what's eating at you.'' She said simply finishing the small pastry, "I should go, feel free to keep these and share with everyone, it's a lot.'' Rose said getting up and walking off leaving Roy with conflicted, troubled expression at what she said. ''That's not what you wanted to tell her did you?'' A familiar voice said, making Roy turn to see Envy sitting next to him eating at a cookie, looking at him with his usual annoyed expression, ''She's pretty good at making human food taste tolerable...'' Envy admitted seeing Roy scowl at him fangs showing, ''Woah, back up there I'm not here to fight you.'' The palm haired male assured, but gave a look that he had something to say pointing to say something, opening his mouth showing his own fangs. ''You're not feeding in any form... And that's slowly killing you.'' Envy said seeing Roy's scowl and expression say he was right, ''It's because of the pretty boy isn't it?... What are you so afraid of now?'' Envy asked in a taunting tone grinning with a smirk, ''I know what's going on... You're falling in love with him, so you're afraid to bite him... That's pathetic.'' The palm haired male finished with a taunting grin before dropping it to a disgusted scowl. ''You know it would be a shame if that pretty boy found out about your little starvation...'' Envy said in his usual taunt seeing Roy's dark eyes get angered, ''Ohh~ You didn't like that did you?~'' Envy taunted again getting up looking at Roy with a now serious expression, ''I don't know what you're expecting with starving yourself, but my sister sure as hell can't help you. Neither will that little bit of faith you're holding on to, is going to save you.'' Envy said simply walking off conflicting Roy more who just made a face feeling even more frustrated, ''I'm not falling in love with Edward!... I'm not...''.
