"I found a depressed Pipsqueak." A voice said making Edward snap out of his depressed state, looking up to see Greed looking down at him a bit concerned, with Envy popping out from behind and make a face but still look concerned. "It appears you have... For you to come to the mall only to stuff your face, you must be really depressed..." Envy said glancing down to the tray of various foods in front of the blond, seeing Edward stay quiet never saying a thing back sighing heavily. "Relationships are supposed to be fun, yet here you are depressed and sulking?..." He said seeing Edward make a face and place his face down on the table, "I know... I've tried calling Roy all day yesterday and he never answered any of my calls once...". "And I tried calling him this morning and it went straight to his voicemail... Four months together and it still feels like I'm talking to a stranger, he never lets me in... I just want him to trust me... Is that too much to ask?..." Edward said hurt as the two vampires joined him at the table.












"As weird as this sounds coming from me... He cares for you, he just has trouble showing it..." Envy said with a sigh, "He's an idiot, he's still learning a lot about himself, especially since getting with you... You're bringing out new emotions out of him, that he never showed till now, that's all... Give him time..." Envy said with Edward still sulking. "How do you know?...", "Envy is right. I hate to say this, but he's right." Greed added in seeing Edward finally glance up, "You know him better out of his everybody, right? What do you see?." Greed asked simply looking at the blond who finally sat up making a face flustered. "He's shy but always looking for affection from me... But he has a good heart, and always looking out for me and everyone else... He puts everyone else before him..." Edward said before going quiet, "Always looking at me with his eyes so expressionless, that's it's hard to tell what he's thinking...". "But I can tell just enough that he cares for me a lot..." Edward pausing realizing Envy was right, looking down quietly, smiling with a pained laugh at realizing how little he trusted Roy, "I've spent all this time focusing on my selfishness, I forgot how much he gives up for me... I'm the worst...".













"See? You're just being hard on the guy... He'll come around I promise, and he'll make up for it today, trust me... So cheer up okay?" The palm haired male said simply glancing up to see Greed giving him a look, since he knew what he was talking about, but smiled silently patting Edward on the head, "Cheer up, kid.". "Have you heard? No one has heard from Roy since yesterday." Rose said as she helped her German co-worker set up his house and backyard for that nights event and visit, seeing him pause and make a face turning to her, "What?..." He asked concerned since the vampire was never gone for more than half a day. "Yeah, turns out he didn't come back home last night, and his phone goes straight to voicemail when you try to call him." Rose said sighing seeing the German make a face, "Not even Edward can get a hold of him?", "No, he's really bummed out since he thinks it's his fault." Rose answered sadly. "Is this because of the other day when he was hungover?... That wasn't his fault..." Alfons said sighing finishing up the last of the decorating, before turning to Rose who had her arms crossed leaning back on the back door heaving a sigh, "It must be hard for him...", "For Ed?", "No, for Roy... He can't handle all these new emotions...".












It was already the late afternoon and Roy had managed to get back to his place and get refreshed and changed and leave again since everyone was already at the German's place, wondering if Edward was angry with him, making a face since he knew Edward probably wanted to tell him off, since it had been two days. "He is definitely angry with me... And my phone is dead too...so I can't contact him either..." He said feeling arms around his neck suddenly thinking it was Gracia since he was at her place waiting for the girls to come back, "Gracia, you'll choke me with a hug like that-" He said turning around with a smile but dropped it surprised when seeing it was Nina who had hugged him. "Nina..." Roy said surprised at how big and pretty the girl had gotten, hearing someone run and hug him throwing him off the chair making him scream, causing Gracia to run down the stairs to see the raven haired male on the floor with Alexander sitting on him, and her girls excitedly next to him on the floor asking him questions. "Guess they didn't need me to pick them up..." Gracia said with a laugh with the girls looking over to her and smile, "You two left the door open." Gracia said glancing over to the open door, "Sorry, we just got excited the second we saw Mustang..." The girls apologized letting the male sit up to catch his breath.












Gracia was surprised to see that Roy was able to hide hide his fangs when he smiled as the girls hugged him again, "I was only going to take Nina and Alexander with me but... it's not fair if I don't take all of you..." He said looking at Gracia who waved her hand around, "It's not necessary Roy..." She started. "Nina, since today is your birthday, I'll buy you whatever you want." Roy said to Nina who smiled, "Really?!", "What about me?", "I can always get you something too, Elicia... So you three get pretty and ready, okay?" He said seeing the two young girls tilt their head, "Where are we going?", "That's a secret." Roy said simply making Gracia smile as she closed the open door. "Brother, you're sulking..." A voice said to Edward who stood outside in the backyard by himself at the full get together a bit later, glancing up to see his younger brother looking at him worried, "Is this about Roy?" He asked seeing Edward open his mouth but close it again putting his hand to his face making a face. "I was actually just thinking about Nina... I wonder how she would of looked now..." Edward said quietly leaving Alphonse quiet since he always thought the same too, hearing a sudden loud knock on the door from where they were, letting it go till hearing the sound of Winry scream suddenly.













"Winry?!" Both brothers said running back in the house to see Winry looked surprised to be approached by a large white but familiar dog, till a new voice spoke up, "Oh dear..." Followed by another voice, "Alexander, that's not nice! " The voice said making it clear who it was, making Edward and Alphonse look up to the door. A familiar brunette girl with braids, now older standing at the door looking at them just as surprised, "N-Nina? Is that you?..." Edward started seeing the young girl waste no time and run to both brothers dropping them on the floor, hugging them both tightly without a word. The new scene left everyone silent as the brothers took a moment to process their situation hugging the girl back in silence with Edward breaking down in joy grabbing Nina's forehead kissing it, with Winry left patting Alexander, "I'm happy but... I'm also confused..." She said hearing the door open again. "You made the big brother and Nina cry." A new voice said making the group turn to see another young girl Nina's again make a face finally hearing Roy's voice, "Oh boy... Looks like I have a lot of explaining to do..." The vampire said never noticing Gracia grab Elicia and move away from him, screaming when feeling someone suddenly tackle hug him out the door, "Roy Mustang you- Shit..." Edward said looking down at the knocked out vampire, "...I may or may have not knocked out Roy...".
