''Solaris...'' Edward said to himself a bit spaced out the next day on his last few minutes of work, ''Solaris?...'' A voice cut in making Edward snap out of it to see Roy looking at him with a raised brow, ''You decided to finally stop ignoring me, Baby Dracula?'' Edward asked casually to see the cup in front of him with Roy's name, realizing he was waiting for his coffee order. ''Ignoring you? I wouldn't be here Edward.'' Roy said almost annoyed with a familiar tone, ''Forget what I said, I'll  give you pastry on me, since I'm taking long on your coffee.'' Edward said casually wearing his red hoodie, that still smelled like the perfume that Lust had on the day before when she had came into his room, never realizing Roy was looking at him suspiciously. ''You've been so moody with me lately, when I haven't even done anything to you- ?!'' Edward started when making the Frappuccino, jumping up when feeling Roy touch his neck, ''You sure you were home by yourself, when I called you yesterday?'' His voice said making Edward drop the container on the floor and spill the coffee from getting nervous. ''Ed, I just mopped the floor, from you making a mess earlier... Really?'' Alfons said with a sigh, ''I-I'm sorry...'' Edward said quickly picking up the cup, with his ears getting red from embarrassment, with the raven haired vampire watching as the German walked off to get the mop, than down to Edward who looked at him with a bothered look. The moment the German came back with the mop he sensed the terrible tension between the two males, seeing the raven haired male leave without a word suddenly, with Edward dropping and sitting on the floor putting his hands to his face, giving a bothered expression, ''Ed...'' The blue eyed male kneeling in front of his friend, who looked ready to break down. ''I haven't done anything to him, or spoken to him much this whole week, yet he's been ignoring me, and acting weird with me lately... I just want a normal life, but I haven't had a normal life, since I met him...'' Edward started pained, ''Alfons... I try and try so hard to get him to talk to me when he's down, but he just won't budge... It's like he doesn't trust me after all this time...''. The long pained silence from Edward made the German feel bad for his Co-Worker, ''Hey... Let's close up, and call it a day yeah? It's been slow today anyways. I'll even keep you company, if you want.'' He said with a smile, seeing Edward finally look up at him with his golden eyes, ''You will?...'', ''We're friends right? I'll always be here for you Ed, You can talk to me about anything.'' Alfons said happily, ''Let's just clean this mess up first.'', ''Yeah...''. ''What time does your Brother get home?'' Alfons asked when he walked inside Edward's place, ''He's usually here with Win, but Win had a Doctor's appointment to check on the baby, so they should be back later.'' Edward said looking over to the German who smiled in content, kneeling  when the kitten walked over to him, and petting her, making Edward smile a bit. ''Hey... Don't worry, Roy will come around and open up to you when he's ready. Give him time.'' The blue eyed male said looking his friend in his golden eyes, ''You're right... Thank you for being here for me.'' Edward said when the German stood up facing him, ''That's what friends are for right?'' The German said putting his hand on the other's shoulder, seeing Edward finally smile at him. ''How about I make us a really good cup of coffee?'' Alfons offered, ''No milk in mine right?'' Edward asked with a raised brow, making the German laugh nervously, ''Of course... No milk in yours... How did you even get so tall, if you don't drink a drop of milk?'' The German questioned with a laugh when they went into the kitchen. ''You know I was thinking of visiting home for a bit.'' The German said making Edward pause from his sip, ''To Germany?'' He asked seeing the other nod with a smile, with Edward looking at his friends blue eyes and appearance, ''Go for it, I don't have a problem with holding down the coffee shop with Rose.'' He said hearing the door open. ''Brother, we're back.'' He heard his younger call making both the German and Ed pause when hearing Winry give a heavy sigh, along with Riza's voice, ''Ah...'' Both Ed and the German said when the group walk in the kitchen, ''Didn't you hear us Ed?-'' Winry started but paused when seeing the German twin of Edward's younger brother sitting there. ''Ah! It's nice to see you Alfons.'' Winry said with a smile, making the German smile back at her, ''You certainly look healthy.'' The blue eyed male said making Winry sigh, ''My stomach itches so much, and I can't even scratch it... I can't even lay on my stomach or side anymore.'' She said before smiling again, ''It's okay though, my baby's definitely worth it.''. ''Of course they are.'' The German said finishing his coffee and looking over to Edward, ''Guess I should get going, yeah?'' He said to Edward who made a face, ''Remember what I said... Just give it time.'' He said patting Edward's shoulder getting up and washing his dish before looking at the group, ''Excuse me, I'll leave Ed to his family- Wah!'' Alfons said with smile screaming when seeing Roy suddenly come in through the open window. ''Haven't heard you scream like that in a long time... What happened?-'' Edward asked with his usual tone, stopping out to see Roy looking at him with a bothered expression despite Alfons looking at him questionably since their place was on the third floor, wondering how Roy even got in, ''We need to talk Edward.'' Roy said seeing Edward make a face. ''As a matter of fact we do.'' Edward said getting serious walking towards the raven haired vampire with the German backing up with the group more concerned than confused, ''For starters... This. Stop being so fucking careless, and learn how to hide what you are. Not showing it off like it's some normal thing, because it's not!'' Edward started. ''I can't keep babysitting you all the time, when something goes wrong!'', ''I'm not asking you to babysit me! I'm not asking anything of you!'' Roy retaliated back surprising the group at how bad things really were between both males with the German growing more concern for the expecting female, who was at a loss at words surprised. ''I don't understand your bad attitude with me lately! I just want to help you, but you insist on being so fucking stubborn, every time I try to help your sorry ass!'', ''I don't need your damn help! I don't need help from a simple human! I can take care of myself, like I always have!'' Roy said irritated causing Edward to snap since he could sense Riza was hurt at what he said. ''Then what's Riza?! Seven whole years, she's been risking her life to protect yours!'' Edward screamed with the German wanting to intervene, when seeing Winry in shock, ''Um... Guys... This isn't good for Winry or the baby...'' He said only to be cut off by Roy's angered tone, ''Vampires need nobody! Okay! Nobody!''. ''Then what the fuck am I to you huh? You can't say nobody, because I am something important to you! This attitude! I'm fucking sick of it! Sick of it! Makes me just wonder why I haven't driven a stake through your fucking heart in your sleep!'' Edward said backing up surprised when Roy got in his face with an angered expression in his dark eyes, ''Please do me that favor! I'd actually much appreciate it right now!-!?'' The raven haired vampire said feeling a sudden stinging sensation on his face. The sound of the sudden slap surprised the group, ''Take a good look at your face! It isn't like you! This isn't the Roy I met!'' Edward said with Roy turning to him with an even more angered look in his dark eyes getting in Edward's face about to grab him by the collar, making the German muster up his courage and quickly get in between the males, taking the place of getting grabbed by the collar roughly, surprised at Roys Inhuman strength. ''Alfons?!'' Edward said surprised when seeing his friend get in between their argument carelessly, ''The baby... Think about Winry and her baby!'' The German said with a plea making Roy snap out of his anger seeing the usually quiet blue eyed male in his grip, hearing Winry make a pained sound at that moment, looking over to see her drop on her knees putting her hand on her stomach in pain from the stress of their arguing, ''Winry!'', ''We have to get Winry to the hospital quick!''.
