''Everything is okay now, Winry didn't mention the incident to Pinako, she forgave you two, you fixed things up with Edward, Al, and his co-worker, what's wrong?'' The quiet caretaker asked the blanked out vampire, later that week with the raven haired male snapping out of it, looking at his long time friend with a serious expression, ''...When was the last time I felt love, Riza?'' Roy asked making Riza tilt her head at Roy in sudden confusing at the odd question. ''We both know you threw any ounce of love away, when you lost him...'' Riza answered simply seeing Roy make a face looking down, at the mention of his best friend, ''But... Lately... It hasn't been like that, especially with Edward... Could it be...You're falling in love with him Roy?...?!'', ''I'm not in love with Edward!'' Roy cut almost quickly and defensively despite his blush, surprising Riza when he got up and left suddenly, ''Oh yeah... You definitely are Roy Mustang.''. ''The useless vampire has a new toy?'' A new voice asked the female vampire later in town near the small coffee shop, where Edward was working at that moment, ''Not a toy... A boyfriend...'' Lust corrected with a smile without turning, ''Eww, he turned queer?'', ''What Jealous?~ Hey... I have an idea... Why not see him for yourself? He happens to work at the small coffee shop over there... Maybe introduce yourself to him, and welcome him to the family?~'' Lust suggested. ''Introduce myself to him, and welcome him to the family? That's a fucking joke Lusty. Don't tell me you actually liked the kid?'' The voice said with an annoyed huff at the jealous comment, ''But I supposed I have nothing better to do,  guess I could just ruffle the new toys feathers.'', ''Now, now... Don't pick a fight with the cutie.'' Lust said making a face, ''Please... Kid looks like he can't even harm a fucking fly.'', ''If you say so, Envy...'' Lust said simply with a tinted smirk. ''Hey Ed... Are you okay?'' The German asked at the small coffee shop when seeing Edward pause from his work, and take a deep breath, ''Getting a bit anxious...That's all...'', "Do you want to take a break?'', ''No... It's cool.'' Edward replied getting a grip of himself, ''...You sure?'' Alfons asked again looking over to Rose who looked concerned, ''No... It's fine really, thank you though.'' Edward replied smiling at both his co-workers. The moment Edward was about to speak, the smell of cigarette invaded his nose turning to see a serious looking but almost annoyed palm haired male looking at him with an elbow on the counter with the cigarette in between his lips, ''Excuse me, but you can't smoke in here.'' Edward said making a face with a serious tone in his voice making the palm haired stranger look at him with a laugh, and taunting smirk. ''Or what Pipsqueak?'' Envy had started making Edward's face twitch in anger but hold in his temper, ''Sir, I'm not going to tell you again. There's. No. Smoking. In. Here. Go. Smoke. Outside.'' Edward said casually before having cigarette smoke blown in his face, ''Sorry Orphan, but won't happen.'' Envy taunted never noticing Edward clench his fist, and face twitch in anger more at the insult, ''Ah...'' The German started but paused when Rose held him back. ''Must be nice being a queer vampire's bitch-?!'' Envy said leaning towards Edward tauntingly, getting caught by surprise when Edward suddenly lunged over the counter, dropping him on the floor in pure anger with his co-workers surprised, ''Ed!'', ''Hold on, I heard you the first time.'' Al started back home with a sigh, walking over to the door opening it to see Roy at the door with a serious expression arms crossed, ''Roy?''. ''Brother won't be home till later.'' Al said confused when seeing Roy point at Winry who was sitting on the couch slowly falling asleep with a book on her lap, ''You need someone to watch Winry while you're gone with Pinako, right?'' Roy said surprising the younger Elric brother, ''...I was just about to call you for that...'' Al said smiling, ''You always know when we need you... I'm glad.'' He said before panicking, ''AH! If I don't leave now, I'll be late with Pinako, and traffic gets bad around this time! Thank you again!'' Al said as he left Roy alone with Winry. ''Nice to see you again Roy.'' Winry's voice said making the raven haired vampire turn to see Winry looking at him with a smile, ''You should rest.'', ''Mmm... It's fine, besides I'm a bit hungry.'' Winry said with a laugh, ''I can make something.'' Roy offered seeing Winry get up putting the book on the table in front of the couch, ''Just because I'm pregnant doesn't mean I can't do anything for myself, I'm still energetic.'' She said going to Roy, ''If I remember... My cravings went to you... So care to join me for some stew, and a homemade pie?''. ''I couldn't eat another bite.'' Roy said heaving a breath when he finished with his fangs showing, ''Well there should be enough for the guys when they come back later on.'' Winry said with a satisfied smile, but paused jumping up when hearing the door slam open and Edward's usual annoyed huff when he had come back from work, ''Ed? You're here early-?!''Winry started turning to see Edward walk in the kitchen, and open the freezer grabbing the ice pack. Roy had caught a glimpse of his boyfriends face, quickly getting up and cornering Edward against the counter when he turned to face them surprised when seeing Roy there, ''Jesus Roy!-!'', ''What happened to you face?'' Roy asked, ''Nothing.'' Edward said turning away quickly till Winry grabbed the ice pack from him, revealing his swelled up bruised face, cut on his forehead and cut lip, ''Nothing huh?...'' Winry said seeing Edward make a face. ''...I got in a fight at work with a guy... Alfons and Rose had to step in...'' Edward said making a face when Winry put the ice pack back on his face, ''Ed...'' Winry said sighing worried, ''He came into the shop smoking, and he had the nerve to blow smoke in my face. I would of let it slide, but he called me an orphan and mentioned Roy, calling me 'a queer vampire's bitch'.'' Edward said making a face angered. ''I just lost it that moment and attacked them, I didn't care if I was at work...'' Edward continued seeing Roy make a face at what was said about him, and Edward, ''I also got a burn mark from his fucking cigarette on my wrist...'' He said showing the burn mark on his scarred wrist, ''It's fine though... I did a number on them.'' Edward said pausing when smelling the familiar food, ''Before you eat, let Roy patch up your face yeah?'' Winry cut in hearing Edward groan, ''Fine.''. Roy silently patched up Edward's face in the living room, making him wince feeling Roy's dark eyes avoid his, "Don't believe what they say... Besides, what else would that make me? Just the same as you." He said seeing Roy finally look up at him, "Your imperfections are perfect to me." Edward added seeing Roy's pale face tint up at what he said, getting quiet when feeling Roy grab his wrist to put healing cream on it, feeling Roy's dark eyes look over the scars on his wrist. "You don't know what life is, until you die for it." Edward commented simply confusing Roy, with Winry staring at the now silent couple feeling bad for them at how little they knew about each other, despite how far they had gotten with each other, "I used to cut myself." Edward said suddenly surprising Roy who looked up to see Edward looking at him with a pained smile, "It was always really easy to hide, till my depression got the best of me, it was minor, till....". "I had a mental breakdown in my teen years... And I ended up in the nut house for a bit for attempting suicide... That's how they found out about what I was doing behind their backs..." The usually quiet blonde said to the surprised vampire who just looked at him in shock, surprising Winry at Edward finally opening up about himself for once, ''Dealing with the pain I felt alone, was selfish... But it's hard to talk, so I know how you feel Roy...'', ''Edward...''. "So the orphan comment really hit home for me, it got me angry... Al and I lost our mom when we were younger, and the old man left us prior before that so... The stress and depression from all that, built up inside me... I always blamed myself for moms death... I still do... So now I have really bad anxiety, and depression... And there's just times where I think... Why am I still living?" Edward said with a pained smile at Roy. ''Even after I met you... You made it worse, I HATED you... But I couldn't say anything, since you had basically forced me to be with you. Even when I had basically given you my first kiss, just so you could stop looking at my wrists, I actually thought you would judge me...'' Edward admitted seeing Roy look over to Winry with an expression that he had felt bad, ''Listen before you get the wrong idea...'' Edward quickly said grabbing Roy's face to face his. ''When you had kissed me in the kitchen after I found out what you were, my heart raced... I don't know what it was about you... But the more I got to know you, I felt something was different about you... Even on our first date I had a lot of fun, what I'm trying to say is... I found what finally makes me happy... And it's you.'' Edward said seeing Roy's dark eyes widen in utter surprise with a gasp, ''You complete me...''.  ''You make me look forward to actually waking up, I always look forward to hearing your voice... To have you right next me... You make me feel like I'm at home.'' The blonde said but stopped feeling face tint up, letting go of Roy's face looking down flustered, ''That must of sounded so cliché, I'm sorry...'' Edward said quickly with Winry unable to help herself, and smile, at how Edward getting hurt led to both males finally having an intimate personal moment, seeing Edward tense up but relax when Roy had leaned forward and hugged him tightly. ''How did someone even know about you being an orphan, let alone you being with Roy?... Let alone knowing about what he is?''Winry asked after Edward ate, ''I don't know, but I don't care because next time he's dead...'' Edward huffed pausing when feeling his anxiety come back, with Roy noticing making a face, jolting up when feeling Edward grab his hand and squeeze it, ''Sorry...'', ''You need your pills don't you.'' Roy asked seeing Edward smile nervously but nod calmy, ''Yeah, Mr. Mind Reader.'' Making Winry smile in content at both Roy's support with Edward. ''Sorry I took so long Roy, traffic was really bad.'' Alphonse started walking through the door with Pinako, and Riza following behind him inside to see Edward's patched up face about to ask what had happened to him, before Edward spoke up with his usual carefree grin, ''Welcome back.'' Making Roy turning from talking to Winry's belly, ''If I would of known there was going to be more company, I would of made another pie or two...'' Winry said with a laugh, ''I can help.'' Riza offered, ''I'd like that.''. "What happened to Brother, Winry?" Al asked in the kitchen later after Winry was taking the pies out, "Mmm... Nothing, but Ed finally opened up to Roy about that." She answered poking Al's wrists, surprising Alphonse who looked over to see Pinako and Riza speaking with both Roy and Edward, "And he also said he appreciated Roy a lot, so he's serious about Roy." She added casually cutting the pie. "You two are getting along better." Pinako commented with Riza nodding in agreement, "It's a nice change though." She said with Al and Winry joining them with a few plates of pie, "Hey Roy... Not to ruin the mood but... Can I ask you something? It's been bugging me." Edward started making the group pause seeing Roy look confused at Edward's serious tone. "Do you know someone by the name of Solaris?" Edward asked suddenly throwing Roy off since he had never heard of that name since the last time he had met Lust, "...No..." He started uncomfortably but didn't want to lie to Edward, "I mean... Yeah but... Not since like seven years ago...", "Oh don't tell me you forgot about me so soon Roy?~ After all, I'm the one that made you into what you are today." A familiar voice said making Roy go pale, and eye twitch, but turn with the group to see Lust sitting on the open window legs crossed with a tinted smile and showy cleavage, "Hi~".
