''Edward... You could of woken me up, I don't mind you waking me up-?!'' Roy started sleepily the next morning, tripping over Hayate who was fast asleep on the floor, groaning in pain since his body felt sore from last, ''So this is what it feels like, huh?...'' The vampire said hearing footsteps and someone kneel in front of him. ''Edward left for work.'' Riza said seeing Roy look up to her, ''That was your first time wasn't it... Might want to take it easy.'' The caretaker said moving Hayate to his bed, ''Edward's mad that I didn't tell him about Rose, isn't he?'' Roy asked seeing his caretaker make a face, ''Not one bit, he just had to work, he did say he would call you on his break, and to take it easy.''. ''You sure?...'' Roy asked wincing when he sat up massaging his back, with Riza's face twitching at what Edward felt and said to her behind his back, glancing away with a guilty expression, ''I'm sure, I made breakfast if you're hungry, or you have the blood pouches.'' Riza said with a smile, ''I hear Winry is going to be there when Edward gets home, why not go over later?~'' She added. ''Hey Ed, you're quieter than usual... What's up?'' The German asked when Edward heaved a sigh making a face when he moved his arms around, wincing when he touched his scratched up shoulder seeing him look at him with his usual carefree smile, ''You think every time I'm quiet, you think something is wrong, don't you Alfons?'' Edward asked with a laugh. ''Really now?...'' The blue eyed male asked with a raised brow, ''It's because I know about Roy, isn't it, Ed?'' Rose's voice cut in making both males turn to see the tanned female behind them, ''You mean you know that he's a...'' Alfons started surprised, ''Mhm, it must be hard on him to be honest.'' Rose continued filling the case with sweets and food. ''No... He's actually a lot heavier than I thought he was, plus he didn't go easy on my back... And we woke the neighbor up, that just happened to be Clara so... Haha...'' Edward said with a flustered laugh, ''She also find about him too...'' Edward said glancing down quietly, ''That's not what's bothering you is it?...'' Both Rose and the German asked. Edward smiled painfully, ''...Well it's just that, no matter how close I am to him, or how much of himself he leaves on me...'' He started touching the scratches on his shoulder, ''I still feel so far away from him, every time I finally catch up to him, he walks off again to another world that I don't understand, faster than I can keep up with him, and I fall behind again... That's all...''. Rose and Alfons started at one another before looking back to their conflicted co-worker. ''Ed...'', ''Man, that sounded depressing didn't it? Haha... Maybe I should up dose the meds...'' Edward said quietly grabbing his long golden hair into a lazy bun, ''Back to work.'' He quickly said in his usual tone with, slipping on his red sweater and casually going back to work. ''I was about to call you, so you could go shopping with me.'' A voice said making Roy stop in his steps, turning to see Winry looking at him with a bright smile, dressed in an ankle length white summer dress, with a pair of black casual boots, ''You certainly are getting bigger.'' Roy commented with a smile making Winry laugh putting her hand on her more obvious stomach. ''Haha... Yeah... You jinxed me.'' Winry said fixing her white sun hat, ''You're not busy are you? I don't want to bother you.'', ''You're never a bother to me Winry, you know that.'' The vampire said with the other smiling more happily, ''You're shopping for Sarah?'' Roy asked casually as they walked again towards the mall, that was blocks away from where Edward worked. ''No not today, I need new clothes to actually fit in, you know? Haha...'' Winry laughed with a smile but pause dropping it, ''By the way, you're usually with Ed... Something happen?'' She asked seeing Roy make a face, but smile, ''He's working today, he did spend the night with me, so I did spend some time with him.'' Roy said seeing Winry now grin. ''Ohhh~ Well that certainly explains the hickeys on your neck... You sure you weren't too heavy for Ed, with your eating for two?~'' She teased making the raven haired male blush, ''T-Take that back!'', ''No way!~'' Winry grinned but stick her tongue out apologetically, ''Sorry, I just never see you much, so seeing you the one covered in hickeys and sore for once, is new.''. ''So how are things with you two?'' She asked casually with Roy staying quiet for a moment, ''Better.'' He finally answered, ''That's great, hey I know you like dogs, how do you feel about big dogs?'' Winry asked, ''You mean your dog correct? I'd love to meet him.'' Roy replied, ''Great, I actually have him at home with Al, you can meet him later!~'' Winry said happily. "Roy?... Why did you stop suddenly?" Winry asked when the raven haired vampire stopped suddenly in between the shops and the food court holding her bags in his hands, "I was just remembering... This is where I've first seen Edward pass by me." Roy said reminiscing back, ''He was so beautiful even back then... Even now he's just as beautiful.'' Roy said with a small appreciative smile. ''...With the way you talk about Ed, it sounds like you would die for him...'' Winry said with a nervous laugh, making Roy smile nervously but laugh as he usually did, ''He's to die for.'' Roy commented simply making Winry see a different expression in the usually confident vampire, thinking nothing of it when seeing Roy walk off to the food court, ''Let's get you some lunch.''.
