Ataku and Kamodichi walked through the seemingly unending forest. Ataku's stomach rumbled with hunger and she walked close to one meter behind Kamodichi. Kamodichi turned around and stared at the exhausted Ataku. "You have pretty blue hair" he complimented. "So now you decided to be nice" she narrowed her eyes. "When have I not been nice" he asked. "When you......nevermind" she wasn't going to even try. She was hungry and didn't want to look at Kamodichi. "So you don't have a smart comeback this time" he raised his eyebrow. "Don't make me sock you" she glared. Kamodichi rolled his eyes.

"If you not tough don't act like it" he said. Ataku wanted to hurt him, "how old are you?" She asked. Kamodichi was surprised. "I am 21 why?" He was confused by the question. "Wondering if you old enough to be in the forest alone" she stated. He tilted his head to her. "How old are you" he asked. "14" she stated while folding her arms. Kamodichi's eyes grew wide in disbelief. "14!" His voice was loud. "Yeah" she said innocently and glared at him like a hawk. "How in the world, you look like a......" Kamodichi grew silent. "I look like a what?" she yelled. He heard horse trots. "are you going to tell me what I look like" she cried out. "Shut up!" He told her. She was quieted by his angry voice. He ran and caught her in his arms and ducked down behind a bush. He covered her mouth with his hand, knowing her smart mouth could put them in danger.

Ataku wanted to protest and push him off her but his warm embrace had stopped her. In his arms she felt safe. Her pale blue hair was pressed against his chest. Her knees pressed up against her round breasts. He held her there in the silence of the forest. She began to hear the horse trots stirring it. She looked up at Kamodichi's face. His stare was straight forward not even giving her a glance. He was protecting her for his own special reasons but what could they be? Could he have feelings for her? If he did he had a funny way of showing it. The horse trots got louder, she looked up at Kamodichi. His stare wouldn't alter even if she told him to. She heard the horses race by in a hurry and run off into the distance. Once they were gone he rose up and let her go. She turned around and glared at him. "I am not helpless you know" she told him.

"Never said you were" he said calmly. He began walking away from her. "Hey" she ran after him. "What were you going to say about me" she asked. "What are you talking about" he said coldly. "You were going to tell me what I look like" Ataku stated. "Oh, don't worry about it. It was nothing" he responded. What's with this guy? Why did he all of a sudden not care? "Where are we going" she folded her arms. Kamodichi pointed to the cottage on a small slope. Ataku's eyes widened at the sight. Kamodichi just kept walking.

They had made it to the cottage and Kamodichi opened the door. "You can't just walk into people's houses" Ataku said in alarm. "Yeah I can if its mine" he said. Ataku covered her mouth in shame. Kamodichi rolled his eyes and walked in. The house was very clean, the furniture was more elegant than the ones in her village. Chairs with cushions, tables with table cloths, knick knack wooden carvings. The kitchen  had a pot over a small area of the fire place.

There was even carpet on the floors. Kamodichi placed his sword above the door they came in. "So you live here" she murmured. Kamodichi went passed her and down a hallway. What was she supposed to do? Was she his maid? No definitely not. Her stomach rumbled with hunger again. "I know, I know" she muttered and folded her arms. All she could think about was Hokina and her young children. She had come there not remembering a single thing at 11 years old. Faye was 6 and Myro was 9. They were like her siblings and Hokina was like her mother but her friend. "Ataku we love you just like you are our family" Hokina's voice echoed in her mind.

Kamodichi peered around the wall to see Ataku holding herself and looking sick. "Are you alright" he asked. "No!" She shook her head away from him. "My apologies, can I help" he asked. Ataku wanted to call him out for everything he didn't do and then thought about her aching stomach. "Food" she muttered. "of course you must be hungry" he nodded. He went to into the room of the fire place and she followed out of curiosity.   He opened a door in the wall and pulled out a small basket of fruit.
"Here" he handed it to her. She then took a good look at him and saw he wasn't wearing his armor.

"Tell me, why'd you bring me to your house and do all of this" she asked. "We have things to discuss Ataku so make yourself comfortable" he told her. He walked passed her and down his hallway again. Things to discuss? What things?
