Kamodichi found his horse and Ataku's. He told his sister to ride Ataku's horse. He rode through the night with Ataku's body. Kishimi following behind him. He had started to go back to when they first met, she had argued with him.

"I didn't ask you to" he recalled her very words the day he saved her. He then realized that after that she had changed. He had vowed to protect her but she had been protecting him. It was the day she told him off, "If it was a 5% chance they could have lived I would have took it no matter how low it was". "Helping people means taking any risk. Even if it means you lose your life too". Her very own words that she followed through. She was truly a bright knight, the brightest knight that shone the light on what he was doing wrong.

He vowed to follow her example. He followed the way back to his cottage with Kishimi following. Once he had arrived he had automatically told Annura and Erin the bad news. They didn't take it very well. He also introduced Kishimi as they had talked. "But why, why did she have to go" Erin said with tears swelled up in his eyes. Annura hugged him with all her might. Kishimi tried to comfort them.

"Where will she be buried?" Annura asked in sadness. Kamodichi had already thought of the place. "I already have the idea" Kamodichi said. He told Kishimi to stay at the cottage. He went around the house and grabbed a shovel. He threw Ataku's dead body over his shoulder wrapped her in the red cloak. He went deep into the forest until he got to the deserted village where he first met Ataku. He dug a hole in the estimated spot when he tackled her and ran. Once he thought it was deep enough. He climbed out the hole and went to the wrapped body.

Kamodichi unwrapped it and stared at his dead friend. He was saddened as he took off her outfit. It brought him the memory of her hiding under the blanket naked because her outfit had been ripped. At this moment he would have rather she still be in that moment. But she wasn't, she would never do that again and it was hurting him. He wrapped her back up, tears stinging his eyes. He placed her body gently in the hole. He had began putting the soil back in its place. Once he was done he found a few white flowers and a stick to mark her grave.

He placed the stick down in the grave like a head stone. "Thank you for everything you have done" Kamodichi said. He placed the white flowers, like petals of the Yoshino tree that she used to dream of. He walked away into the forest not looking back. "Goodbye Ataku" he whispered.
