Ataku yawned the dawn morning sun stinging her eyes. She was quite upset she wasn't waking up on her bed. She had learned yesterday that her new found partner Kamodichi was her protector. Having her village burned to the ground and recently learning of the subject the fairy soul and she didn't know what the fairy soul was. Kamodichi said she was apart of it some how and now she was in his home and sleeping on his floor. Her stomach rumbled for breakfast. This would be the time Hokina would make her breakfast. Ataku sighed and narrowed her eyes to the kitchen. She frowned, Kamodichi was far from food humble.
She decided she would go out and find something good. Ataku left the house out the front door very quietly. She miss stepped and rolled down the hill. She cut her voice short. "Stupid hill!" She yelled. Mostly she was embarrassed. Kamodichi opened the door and looked down at her. He shook his head in amusement, "you know you are very loud". "Its the crack of dawn and you are already on your feet" he yawned and stretched. Ataku folded her arms and walked away. "Wait you know that's dangerous, remember last night" Kamodichi warned. "What ever I hungry and I am not eating a wolf" she stated and disappeared into the woods. He narrowed his eyes in annoyance. He grabbed his sword at the top of the door and dragged it lazily after himself. He was following Ataku's foot prints.
After he past the bushes he immediately saw her climbing a tree. "What the hell are you doing up there!" He called out. "Stop breaking my concentration" she shot back. She scrambled up the long thick branches of a tree she did not know the name. She picked a purple fruit off the tree. Kamodichi saw the fruit and used his sword to slash the whole branch off the tree. Ataku was frightened by the attack and dropped the fruit and it splattered to the floor. "What the hell is wrong with you!" she yelled. "That fruit is poisonous, genius" Kamodichi pointed to where her fruit fell. The juices of the fruit made the grass die. Ataku stared in horror and then glared at Kamodichi. "Why didn't you tell me before I was halfway up the tree!" She complained. "Well because 'stop breaking my concentration'" he mimicked her.
"I don't sound like that" she defended. "Hmm maybe more like a whiny girl" he added. Ataku was walking away angry,
" how dare he" she grumbled. "Wait, we got stuff to do today" he realized she got some distance on him.She saw a few apples on the ground. She dusted some off and threw some she didn't like. One hit Kamodichi in the head, "Ow" he cried out holding his head. She turned around to stare at him. "You found the food you wanted" he asked rubbing his head. "I wish" she said eating an apple. "Gather what you can so we can go" he said. She narrowed her eyes in hostility. "What?" He said in confusion. "Do this Ataku, do that Ataku while you at it rub my back Ataku......." Ataku whispered to herself sarcastically as she gathered the good apples. She walked away from Kamodichi. Kamodichi couldn't help but think she was very strong....after all, he did practically drag her away from the idea of saving the village.
For her to be so strong she had to know the fairy soul some how. His vision had her appearance visibly. Seek the fairy soul, for the fairy soul the world will be saved. He couldn't think of any other way to interpret it. But of course they would have to awaken her memory. He didn't have a clue on how to do that. It was time for a thorough investigation. Ataku sat in the house on the living room floor eating the apples. She stared out the window, she had a long distant look on her face.
"Apologies for disturbing your thoughts but we have to find your memories" Kamodichi said. "I don't remember anything" she retorted. "Let's start with your mother. You have to remember what your mother looked like" Kamodichi stated. "I don't even know my mother's name" she said calmly. "Did you have any siblings" he asked. "I only knew Faye and Myro" she stated. "Well do you remember any landscapes" he pressed. Her thoughts raced to her dream that she had. "A meadow, a meadow, yeah with a tree with vanilla petals" she said.
"Were you there at the meadow" he asked. "I didn't see anyone, I heard crying but I saw no one" she sighed. "Well that's where we will look" Kamodichi said. "What, it was just a dream, I don't think a place like that exist" Ataku said.
"I bet someone will know the tree with white petals. Come on let's go" Kamodichi said. "Where" she asked. "To the bright Knights Organization" he said grabbing his sword. Ataku stared in surprise. She would get to see the organization for herself.
