Everyone sat down to the table Vianna stood up next to a door eyeing the room like a supervisor. A man in the same red robes as the rest of the people Kamodichi and Ataku met, had come into the room with a group of his servants surrounding him. They pulled out his chair and set him down humbly. The man had short cut hair that framed his face and his hair was hazelnut brown. "Welcome people welcome" he greeted. "I have heard such things from peasants of the east and I am horribly disappointed. Nobody is able to tame those wild animals that we call humans. We have tried every tactic of authority and yet they beg us for help. Disappointment is what they are at least I thought" the man told them. "I have been given word that a young mistress has made the peasants productive again. The young mistress by the name of Ataku. Ataku answer to thy name" the man said.
Ataku raised her hand out of worriment. "Yes I would like to thank you for your help. I would like for you to work with us. To join us in our mission to keep the peasants at work and for the kingdom to prosper. You have an amazing ability to make sure that the peasants do their job and not question authority and we could use someone of your class in our walls. With you helping us you will have all the things you desire, anything" the man proclaimed. "I know this is a big decision to make so I will give you the next 24 hours to tell me your answer nonetheless we enjoy this meal shall we" the man said and everyone began to serve themselves. Ataku was staring in utter shock and Kamodichi was speechless. "You guys, don't stare, we have to eat what they have brought out for us" Kishimi whispered. "To show them we are grateful" she explained.
Ataku and Kamodichi nodded Kishimi helped them with serving themselves. The trio ate in silence while the other guests gossiped and talked about battles and future wars then about the horrible things they had done to the peasants. Ataku's heart hurt listening to all the bad things they had done to innocent people. Her heart beat with a sympathetic blue fire, she fought to keep it down. After the meal, Vianna told them they were welcomed guests and assigned rooms even Kishimi could stay with them. They had one huge room together and that maidens would come to get them ready for bed soon.
They had finally gotten the privacy they need so Kamodichi could talk with Ataku. "I'm sorry about what happened this afternoon. My brother and his stupid, arrogant ways I cant believe him" Kamodichi was furious and ranting about how his brother was the worse. "Kamodichi" Ataku said as he went on. "I got my memory back" she announced. Kamodichi stopped in mid sentence, he looked at her in surprise. "You did" Kishimi was upbeat about it. "When did you get it back" Kamodichi asked. "The chapel, I have a lot to tell you" Ataku told him. "Alright lets hear it" Kamodichi stood up and looked at her. "First I have to tell you that the dreams of the Yoshino tree kept occurring the time I was with you. I didn't understand why it did but I met my younger self at the tree" she told him.
Kamodichi listens intently, "what was your younger self doing". "Crying and I know why. Kamodichi I am the fairy soul, you were looking for but not the same one" she told him. Kamodichi stared at her, "really". "When you told me you saw that vision, you specifically said a woman with pale blue hair but with blue eyes and she wore something elegant, I have silver eyes. That woman you saw was my mother, Yolan who was the leader of this castle, it fell because someone with the sword of demise destroyed this place and she was slain. I watched her die and I didn't remember" Ataku told him. "My name is Ataku Hizune, I did have a last name. I am also 20 years old I was 17 when the place fell and the enemy who had the sword of demise chased me all over the land, attacked me with the sword and I hit my head losing my memory" she explained.
"if you are the fairy soul, then you are supposed to save the world" Kamodichi said. "Wait this explains everything" he said. "The sword that you hold" he pointed to it. "Was my mother's" Ataku told him. He looked even more surprised, "that's why it claimed you as its owner. Your fast healing" Kamodichi pointed. "I heal fast because that's the power of the fairy soul" Ataku told him. "You saving me when we were attacked by the bear. You sliced the bear in half" he told her. "Also power of the fairy soul. Fairy souls are beings that take on the suffering of others and are here to protect the people. All of things that's happened to you I couldn't bare to see you go" Ataku's eyes watered with tears.
Kamodichi realized that she was protecting him. That all along she had been protecting him, when they first fought Matteo she had gotten up even when she was knocked off the horse to shield him from a blow that could have killed him. When she ran and took a bullet, she had saved him and Erin. She took a fatal blow protecting him from the bear that had disturbed the forest. She had been there standing up for him. Kamodichi saw Ataku in a new light, the fairy soul was her. She had been with him the whole time. Seek the fairy soul for the fairy soul the world will be saved.....
