Kishimi stared at both her brother and Ataku. Ataku had been saving her brother from hardships without him even realizing it. She really was a good person, a being whose only objective is to save people. "Ataku" Kamodichi said but there was nothing to say. She looked up at him with saddened eyes.
Kamodichi hugged Ataku, "this entire time I thought I was looking for an object. I totally misinterpreted what the vision meant. I was looking for a human, a human with a kind heart. A human with the most kindest heart in the entire world" Kamodichi said. "Kami, but why does the world need saving" Kishimi asked.
"Matteo" Ataku said. "Matteo?" Kamodichi pulled away and looked at her. "He holds the sword of demise. The power that could kill many humans at once. In the beginning the sword was forged as a weapon of worship. A weapon of great power but it was darkened by the dark thoughts of the people who wield it. People who were after only power were a slave to the object. The only thing it knows is to kill and destroy since its been passed from one hand to another" Ataku explained. "So its causing a normal bandit to be a pain" Kamodichi said. "Kishimi, we need to get out of here" he turned to her. "But its night and I will be stuck here with Kinello" she whined.
"Its too dangerous for you to be outside the kingdom. Please help us" Kamodichi asked her. Kishimi stared at her older brother with sadness but the guy needed to be stopped. "OK" she sighed. "But the royals will be upset" she told them. Kishimi opened the door slightly to peer through the hall. No one was there, she waved her companions to come near. The area was clear but suddenly a soldier called out. "Something has breached the walls" he said. "Is it peasants!" Another cried out. People were racing down halls and stairs. Kishimi, Kamodichi and Ataku came from their room looking. "Let's see what's going on" Kamodichi said. They followed behind from several feet away as kingdom soldiers ran out the castle.
The castle doors was opened as they ran downstairs too and ran outside in the cool air. Torches were lit and things were being set a flame. People were screaming and running for their lives. "Everybody move evacuate" the soldiers said. Kinello was among moving people west deeper inside the kingdom. "Come on we got to see what's going on" Kamodichi told them. They ran into the panicking crowd. Then they were out staring at a group of rebellious fighters taking down some of the kingdom soldiers.
More bandits poured in, Vianna came soaring in on her horse. The horse bucked and she was flown onto the street and was out.
Who could be behind this? The chaos had begun and Kamodichi feared he couldn't stop it. He drew his sword and began to fight knocking down bandits. The bandits turned on him but he fought tooth and nail to hold them back. Ataku watched in horror and Kishimi was shaking with fear. But then a horse out of no where leaps across fire and lands several lengths away from Kamodichi. It was Matteo, "take all their heads off, the jewels, the women take them all" he shouted. Matteo, not Matteo, not here, not now, Ataku begged. People screamed and ran, some had even tripped. You are the fairy soul, save them. It wasn't the voice it was her inner self. Her inner self had been speaking to her. The thing she tried to keep quiet but couldn't. Matteo had unsheathed his sword and raised it above his head. His target was Kamodichi who knew he was the target. But he couldn't move, the bandits were all around him. He would surely die.....
