Young Kamodichi was shaving a wooden sword outside his house on the porch. The village was prospering and he was 7 years old. His hair was short but long enough to be put into a small pony tail. His mother with his older brother and younger sister came to see him. "Come on Kamodichi, your father wants you and your brother to help him with hauling the wood for the fire" his mother told him. "Yes mom" he and his brother never really got along. They fought all the time and he wasn't looking very happy to be partnered with him.

"You are such a idiot" his brother told him. "Shut up Kinello" Kamodichi told him. "You shut up" they started to fight each other. "Stop you two and go to your father" Their mother said furious. Their sister hid behind her. The boys went to their father who was already loading a horse with wood. "Alright, take the horse and make sure the wood gets to the carpenters" their father told them. "Yes father" they complied. Kinello eyed Kamodichi with hate but Kamodichi tried to ignore him.
"I don't know why father let's you follow us, you're weak. You made us lose our catch last week. You can't even skin a chicken. You can't make a knife either. I am way better than you" Kinello told him. "I can do it if I keep practicing" Kamodichi told him. "Yeah right, father is wasting his time" Kinello scoffed.

Kamodichi scowled at his older brother. "I can do things" he muttered. "Some day I will be a hero to all" he said. "Ha dream on you'll be the hero of horse manure before that happens" Kinello taunted. Kamodichi wanted to prove him wrong so badly. They had arrive to the carpenter's block. The carpenters thanked the boys and hauled the wood inside their building. Suddenly they heard screams from villagers. Kamodichi saw the crowd of panicked people. Behind them was a younger Matteo and his posse. Kamodichi ran for his life towards Mother and his house. But he turned around to see Kinello standing in the way of the stampeding people.

Kamodichi ran back to him and grabbed his older brother's arm and ran back to the house. "Get off of me coward" he pulled out of Kamodichi's grip. "I don't need help from a weakling like you. You maybe scared but I can do on my own" Kinello told him. "But we have to help mom and Kishimi" Kamodichi told him. "Then I will help them, you're too weak to do so" Kinello told him and started running to the house.
"It doesn't matter they are still my family" Kamodichi told him. They both ran to their house. Their mother and their little sister Kishimi were running out the house in panic. Kishimi ran back inside and closed the door. She was afraid of the things outside. "Kishimi!" Their mother cried. Things were being set on fire and Kimishi was still inside.

"Mom we have to go, if Kishimi wants to be stupid she can, but we have to go" Kinello said. "Leave your sister are you crazy" his mother told him. "Fine I will find father" Kinello ran north. "Kamodichi" his mother wrapped her arms around him. The house was starting to burn but Kamodichi wasn't ready to lose his sister. She screamed and cried. He ran inside the house leaving his mother's embrace. "Run mom I will find Kishimi" Kamodichi told her. He ran inside the house finding his sister huddled under the table. "Big brother" she whined. "I am here Kishimi" Kamodichi said.

The house was falling to pieces. He hurried and pulled his sister from under the table. A plank blocked the door so he pushed her out the nearest window. She fell with a short scream but she was unharmed. "Big brother" she looked up at him. The house blocked his exit through the window. "Go find mom" he told her. But now he was stuck in the burning house. He saw that a piece of the wood had burned away out through the side.

He tried to crawl through the space but the house fell on him and he got stuck. "Help please help!" Kamodichi called out. Only an elder who was escaping heard him. He hurried over to Kamodichi and pulled him from under the debris. But he was later shot in the back by Matteo's posse. Kamodichi ran for his life dodging arrows. He made it to the woods and tripped over a root in the ground. His eyes had opened to a woman who stood above him she had blue eyes and pale blue hair in a pony tail. She wore a fair laced shirt and a long black skirt. Seek the fairy soul for the fairy soul the world will be saved. The voice had stirred around her but her mouth never opened. He had his goal he would find the fairy soul, the world would be saved and they would be safe. He had wandered the forest until he was starved and dehydrated then passed out. He was saved and revived by a old man in armor. The old man told him he was a knight and was apart of the bright knights organization.

Kamodichi hadn't heard such a thing. The old man named Hanko had shown Kamodichi the organization. He raised Kamodichi up as a knight and died from tuberculosis. The cottage was actually Hanko's and he inherited it from his death. Ever since then Kamodichi had lived there.
