Ataku stood in the meadow with the Yoshino tree in front of her. The wind billowed the tree's petals, the sky showed fly away clouds. Everything had a light glow to it. Ataku stood still as a statue wondering why she was here again. She saw the little girl at the bottom of the tree. Her tear stained eyes met hers. Ataku then walked to her with tears streaming down her face. She grabbed the little girl, "leave me alone, I want a normal life, I am not the fairy soul, I don't know who I am and if you're not going to help me then stop putting things in my head" she yelled at the girl. "I am your head" she told her. Inner Ataku began to fade leaving Older Ataku staring at the tree. "You must accept who you are" she heard its voice in the atmosphere. "Only then will you learn the truth" she heard her whisper in her ear.
Ataku woke up with a jolt, sweat was on her forehead and she was breathing hard. She looked around the room. She didn't hear a sound. She began to take off her armor and the rest of her out fit. She rubbed her face and hugged herself. She sat on the bed with her knees pressed up to her breasts. Her hair covered her back and she leaned forward with her head on her knees. Her mind wandered to when she was out in the woods with Kamodichi. He heard horses coming and took action hiding her. She was in the same position. She could imagine how warm he was. How she was pressed against him in that moment. She blushed and shook her head, it was wrong. She looked over at her outfit sleeve. It was ripped where she was shot at. It had to be fixed but not at this moment. She crawled across her bed and planted her face straight into her pillow. Tears came with ease.
Kamodichi awoke with only his modern pants on. The sun was pouring from his window and on to the wooden floor. He decided to go check on Ataku. He sat up on the edge of his bed, rubbed the tiredness from his eyes and headed out his room door. He walked a little ways down the hall to the next room. He looked in to see Ataku's outfit scattered over the floor and her under the blanket like a cat trying to get warm. He walked over to the bed and poked her. It was like poking a bear out of slumber. Ataku felt Kamodichi prodding her and she was totally embarrassed. She wasn't wearing anything but if she stayed that way he would think there was a problem for sure. She pulled the blanket away from her face and looked up at Kamodichi. Kamodichi's face was blank and she noticed he wasn't wearing shirt. Why did it bother her? He did that the first night she was here. Ataku was turning red as a tomato. "Are you sick now" he asked. "No-o" she managed to say. "Then what are you doing" he asked. "My outfit needs a repair, I don't feel comfortable" she tried to steer him away from herself. "I know you're naked" Kamodichi rolled his eyes. "We'll just have to take it to Tanaka" Kamodichi sighed.
"How did you know I was naked" she blushed. "because Tanaka took your old outfit" he told her. Kamodichi searched the closet in the room and found a blue robe. He threw it on her bed. He gathered Ataku's outfit and left the room. Ataku took the robe and tied it around her. She was very surprised at Kamodichi's reaction. She kind of felt bad for judging him so quickly. She sighed, she finally was able to have the confidence to leave the room. She walked down the hallway to the living room. Annura was using the fire place in the kitchen to heat up the smoked wolf meat. Erin was hauling water inside 2 wooden buckets. He sprinkled tea leaves, honey and lemon in it. She looked around but didn't see Kamodichi. "Good morning Ataku" Annura greeted when she entered the kitchen. "Good morning Annura" Ataku said. "If you are looking for M.r Juno, he said he was going to the organization" she told her. Annura gave Ataku her portion of the meat. "I could prepare a bath for you Miss Ataku after you eat" Erin offered. She nodded when she bit a piece of wolf meat. Of course she preferred eating something else but it would have to do. She couldn't believe Kamodichi was going to get her outfit fixed. He wasn't such a bad guy.
