"Shawn! Stop my parents are going to be home any minute!" I pouted while trying to get Shawn to stop kissing me.

"And I'll stop when I hear them coming," he said while moving down to my neck.

"Babe I'm not kidding!" I said and tried pulling away from him again.

He pulled away with his eyes wide and I could tell that mine were wide to after what I had just said.

"Did you just call me babe?" He questioned with a smirk.

"Um...maybe," I said in an unsure tone.

"Why do you say it like that?" He said and I shrugged.

"Well I didn't know if it was okay if I could call you that Mr. Mendes," I said with a smirk and he shook his head.

"You can call me whatever you want baby girl," he said and I smiled.

"Alright then-" I would've continued what I was saying but I heard the garage door opening.

"Shit," I cursed under my breath and saw Shawn still looking down at me.

"One last kiss?" He said in a gentle voice and I nodded.

I reached up and pressed my lips against his, but pulled away in case things got heated which I found out happens a lot whenever we kiss.

"I love you," he mumbled while pressing his forehead against mine.

"I love you too," I said and the door downstairs slammed shut.

"Alexis! We're home!" My mom called out and I pressed my lips against Shawn's one last time.

"What was that for?" Shawn mumbled and I shook my head while pushing him out of my room.

"Just for good luck now lets go," I said and shut the door behind me.

"You really have some nerve telling me that Ms. Rivera. Given the fact that I can't have any control around you," Shawn said with a smirk and I shook my head.

"Well then you can show me that another night then right?" I said while raising my brow and he nodded his head in desperation.

"Oh you are definitely something else," he mumbled and turned around towards the stairs.

"Hey Shawn did everything go alright? I hope Alexis wasn't that big of an issue for you!" I heard my dad call out as I rushed downstairs in front of Shawn.

"Mr. Mendes that's ridiculous!" I yelled and stormed into the kitchen while coming up with a brilliant plan to spend more time with Shawn.

"Alexis what are you-" Shawn said but I cut him off.

"How am I failing your class I'm one of your best students!" I cried out but looked at him with a slight wink.

"Alexis what's going on," my mom said and came into the holding what I assume was our lunch.

"Look Alexis, in sorry but none of your work is up to where it should be," Shawn said and began playing along with my plan.

"Dad! Your buddy over here is failing me in his class when I am one of his best students. Actually, make that the only best student," I said while crossing my arms as my dad walked in.

"You're failing!" My mom yelled and I nodded.

"I don't know how!" I said and looked back at Shawn.

"Look Mrs. Rivera, Alexis can easily raise her grade if she'd just let me tutor her," Shawn said and my parents both looked at me.

"Alexis, you don't want to be tutored by Shawn?" My dad said and I shook my head.

"I just don't feel like I need it," I said and they both shook their heads.

"Of course you need it Alexis! You can't afford to fail let alone have you ever failed anything in your life!" My mom said in a stern tone and I nodded.

"And besides I would trust Shawn more than the other scammers in town who won't teach you shit," my dad said and I tried to hold back my laugh.

"Language Henry," my mom mumbled and my dads eyes widened.

"Oh right sorry," he started and then went on, "look I agree Shawn should tutor you and since your mom and I aren't home enough, Shawn can tutor you at his house."

My eyes went wide again and I couldn't believe what I was hearing.

"His place?" I questioned and they nodded.

"Of course. Right after school Shawn can take you to his house then take you back here when you are done. Only if that's alright with you Shawn," my dad said and furrowed his brows towards Shawn.

"That's alright with me Henry," Shawn said and I scoffed.

"Alright, anything to bring my grade up," I said and everyone else nodded.

"Well if you'll excuse me, I should probably get going," Shawn said and started backing it into the hallway.

"Alright, thank you again Shawn, and Alexis, can you please walk Shawn out?" My dad said and I nodded.

"Of course," I said with a smile.

Once Shawn and I were out on the porch, I couldn't hold in my laughter much longer.

"Nice plan Ms. Rivera," Shawn said with a smirk and pulled me into his arms.

"Good job playing along Mr. Mendes," I said and he nodded.

"Anytime, and I guess all it took was for me to fail you in order to spend more time with you huh?" Shawn questioned and I nodded.

"Guess so," I said and got up on the tips of my toes to gently kiss his cheek.

I felt his body shiver and I laughed again.

"What?" Shawn asked and I shook my head.

"Nothing, just laughing over the effect I have on you," I said and he shook his head.

"Well you do many things to me Ms. Rivera," he said and I nodded.

"As do you...with me," I winked and he shook his head.

"All in good time," he mumbled and I nodded.
