"What about Alexis?" Her mom said and I shook my head.

"Well you see, I really like her, and I know she likes me too, but I'm just so scared of her not going out with me since we had a bit of a fallout before school was let out," I told her and she nodded.

"I see, well I would love to talk to her about it," she said and I smiled.

"You're daughter is very special to me Mrs. Rivera," I said and she smiled.

"How cute, you know what, I'll go get her right now," she said and rose from her seat.

"Alexis!" Her mom called out at the foot of the stairs I assume.

A few moments later, Alexis walked into the room with her mom and took a seat next to me.

"What's this about?" Alexis said while crossing her arms.

"I just want you and Mark to talk," her mom said and she shook her head.

"What about? There's nothing to talk about," she said and her mom looked at me.

"I'll just leave you two to talk," her mom said and then walked out of the room.

"Seriously? You brought my mother into this. What kind of sick freak are you?" She spat out and I just chuckled.

"Oh Alexis, you really shouldn't be speaking to me like that, after all, I know your secret," I said in a dark tone that even scared me a little.

"What secret?" She questioned and all I could do was smile.

"About you and your pretty boyfriend Mr. Mendes," I muttered and she shook her head.

"I don't know what you're talking about," she mumbled and I shook my head.

"Don't pull that bullshit with me Alexis! I saw you two sucking each other's faces off upstairs. Now if you want me to keep you're secret I need you to do something for me."

"What do you want asshole," she muttered and I chuckled.

Lexi.

I walked back outside with Mark and immediately my mom rose from her seat with a huge smile stretched across her face.

"Everyone I assume we have a great announcement headed our way," my mom said and I turned to Shawn who just stared at Mark.

"Yes. I would like to announce that Alexis is now my girlfriend," Mark cheered and everyone in my family started clapping.

The only people who weren't, were my friends, and Shawn. I kept my eyes on him and his expression was becoming even more mad by the second.

He rose from his seat and headed towards the door.

"Sorry I have to go," he mumbled loud enough for all of us to hear.

"Alright, Alexis, can you walk him out please," my dad said and I just looked over at Shawn.

"Oh Henry that's not really-" I cut him off before he could finish.

"Of course," I said and he rushed inside with me following.

I could feel Marks' eyes look at me very intently as I closed the door behind me. Shawn didn't say a word to me, nor did he even look at me.
