My name is Lexi, or Alexis, whichever you prefer. I going to tell you about my life. More specifically, the time when I fell in love with my teacher.
I had my whole life planned out. People would call me perfect, but I beg to differ now. Every...
"Oh good Alexis you're up," my dad said while welcoming me in a hug.
"Yeah but I have to get to work, early shift on Saturdays remember," I said and he nodded.
"Of course, I'm just going to give you some money," he said while handing me a fifty dollar bill.
"Dad, I don't need-" I began but he cut me off by shaking his head.
"I insist, you can buy something nice to wear for tonight," he said and I tilted my head at him.
"Oh did your mother not tell you?" He said and I still gave him a confused look.
"I didn't tell anyone what?" My mother said as she walked into the room.
"About tonight," he said and she snapped her fingers after realizing what she had to tell me.
"Oh right my bad, it slipped my mind," she said and they both started laughing.
"It's okay at least she has some time today," he said and I still looked at them confused.
"Still not understanding what I'm supposed to do with this money," I said and they both looked at me.
"Oh right, your father is having an old friend over. He's a bit younger I believe twenty-five or so, but he's coming over for dinner and we want you to dress nice," my mom said and I nodded.
"Okay, but I don't really need the money I have money of my own I don't feel comfortable taking it from you," I said innocently and they both shook their heads.
"We insist, now go. You have to be at work, and dinner will be at six," my mom said as she rushed me out the door.
Well okay then.

"Thanks for shopping with us, have a good rest of your day," I smiled towards the last costumer of my shift.
"You as well Miss," she said back with a smile.
Wow don't really get much of those.
"Jill! I'm going to head out you're good to take over?" I called out to Jill in the back who was taking over my shift.
"Yeah be there in a second Lex, but can you help out one last costumer, she's in the lingerie section," she called back and I shook my head.
"You're lucky I love you Jill," I said and walked towards that section.
"Thank you Lex you're a lifesaver," I heard her say and I just smiled to myself while walking up to a woman who I assume I was supposed to help.
"Anything I can help you with Miss," I said while tapping her shoulder slightly.
"Oh yes of course!" She said and my eyes widened.
She was so freaking pretty. Like what in the actual fuck? You could tell she didn't have any makeup on, and that she never wore any, like goddamn! I would pay to look as good as her.
"Um alright, what could I help you with," I said and she held up two sets of lingerie.
"Well it's my boyfriend and I's anniversary, so I wanted to present myself in one of these but I can't pick a color," she said with a nervous smile.
"I see, well what color does he think you look best in?" I asked and she held up a black one.
"Mhm okay well how about since it's your anniversary, you can go with red, and in my opinion, it matches your skin tone perfectly," I said and she smiled.
"Oh thank you so much! I'll get this one then," she squealed and I smiled.
"Of course, I can check you out over there when you are ready," I said with a smile and turned back to the registers.

I had just finished my makeup, and now all I had to do was put on the new dress I bought. I grabbed my white heels from my closet as well as the dress and went to change.

Once I was done I fixed my hair which was already curled, and decided I was good to go. I made my way downstairs and could smell the steak my dad had just brought in from the grill.
"Oh you look beautiful," I heard my mom say and I smiled.
"Thank you," I said and tucked a piece of my hair behind my ear.
"Oh crap I forgot my earrings," I said and ran back upstairs trying not to trip.
"Hurry back they'll be here any minute," she said and just then I heard the doorbell ring as I made it into my room.
I could hear them talking, but I couldn't quite make out the words. I put on my earrings and walked back downstairs. As I walked down I could hear them laughing, but before I could fully make my appearance, my stomach got a little uneasy.
I ignored it by walking into the dining area, and before I could try to run, it was already too late.
