Jealousy.

Lexi.

"Did you end up doing the homework for Mr. Mendes?" Amanda asked me as we entered the school.

"Of course, I plan on keeping my straight A's you know?" I laughed and she nodded.

"Right, I forgot you were a nerd," she said and I playfully slapped her arm.

"Or it's because I don't have a boyfriend who smothers me so much," I teased and she shook her head.

"Boyfriend huh?" I heard Liam say who was being followed by Mark.

"She's just jealous because she doesn't have anyone," Amanda said with a smirk and I just glared at her.

"Actually I would think twice about that," I said with a smile and felt Marks arm wrap around me.

"Hello beautiful," he said and I could feel my cheeks burn red.

As much as I was blushing, there was this other feeling building up inside my stomach that I couldn't shake off...ever. The feeling was uneasy and each time I was around Mark it would build itself up, but I always ignored it.

"Hey," I said and reached up to kiss his cheek.

"Wow...anyways, where are the others?" Amanda asked while keeping her eyes on Mark.

"Em and Chase are in Minnesota visiting Chase's family and Sydney is with Brain doing the you know," I said with a smirk and I saw Liam start shaking his head.

"Gross," Amanda mumbled and I couldn't help but laugh.

"Well we should get to class huh?" Mark said and I nodded.

"We should," I said and all four of us started walking towards Mr. Mendes' classroom.

It's been about two weeks since London, and this is my first day back to school. I took time off from school to, not only avoid Mr. Mendes, but to help my dad out.  His back wasn't doing so great when I got back, and since my mom was always working, I stayed home to help him.

But now the time has come to finally face him after everything that happened.  I don't know if he'll try to talk to me or try to fix what happened between us.

Also, if he does, I have a boyfriend now.  Sure, I'm not quite sure how I feel exactly about Mark, but he's the best I got.  He's there for me when I need him, and I love that.  He's sweet, but he doesn't give me that feeling that Shawn gave me.

When we finally got into the class, Shawn's eyes immediately shot up, but I could sense a strong glare towards Mark.

"Here save me a seat next to you I'll pick up the assignments I missed from Mr. Mendes," I said while kissing mark on the cheek gently.

"Of course beautiful," he said with a smile and I handed him my bag to put on my seat.

I slowly walked over to Shawn who turned his head back down to continue grading papers.

"Mr. Mendes," I said in a gentle voice and watched as he looked up at me.

"Ms. Rivera, how may I help you," he said and I felt this crazy sensation in the pit of my stomach from hearing his voice.

"I just wanted to pick up the assignments I missed," I said and he nodded.

"No need it's fine," he said and I tilted my head slightly.

"But I was gone for two weeks-" I began, but he cut me off.

"It's alright, you were excused, and also I was wondering if I could speak to you after class," he said and my whole body started to tingle.

As much as I wanted to be alone with him I can't, I have a boyfriend, and with him it's different.

"Mr. Mendes, I don't think that's really necessary, don't you think," I said and he shook his head.

"I just wanted to check on you that's all," he mumbled and looked down at his hands.

"I miss you Lex," he whispered and my whole mood dropped.

I turned away quickly and took my seat without saying anything.  If I tried to say something, I would end up running into his arms and giving into him completely.

I just want this to go as quickly as possible.

"Alright so today's lesson...Ancient Egypt.  Who would like to tell me something about it?" I heard Shawn say and I just scribbled down everything he had written on the board onto my paper.

I heard this girl named Sophie start going on about Egyptian times and every little detailed I tried to catch until my pencil finally gave in.

"Shit," I scoffed under my breath.

I turned to Mark to see if he had an extra pencil.  He turned to me with a smile wondering what was going on.

"Hey do you have an-" I was cut off by an angry voice filling the whole classroom.

"Ms. Rivera, I'm afraid you weren't chosen to speak, so unless you have something important to say, you and your boyfriend can gladly leave my classroom."

"Mr. Mendes I-" he cut me off again which sent a whole pit of anger to boil.

"Enough!  You barely just got back, and already you're causing all of this chaos.  I suggest you leave and stop disrupting my class," he said and I frowned.

"As you wish Mr. Mendes," I said while grabbing all of my stuff.

I stormed out of the class without saying enough word and rushed out to my car.  My heart was beating tremendously fast, and not it a good way.

I got into my car and rested my head against the wheel.  I soon started to feel a warm liquid start to spill out from my eyes, and I didn't bother trying to stop it.

No matter what I do I end up crumbling down into nothing when I'm around Shawn especially today.  I continued to cry figuring there was no use for this anymore.

There's no use in avoiding the fact that I'm falling for me teacher.
