Shawn.

The door slammed shut as Alexis left. My heart tore into a million pieces and I couldn't believe what I just heard.

She's pregnant.

My eyes swelled up with tears and I didn't know what to do.

"Well wasn't that interesting," I turned around to see Justine standing there with a smirk across her face.

"Yeah thanks to you," I growled and I heard her walking closer to me.

"Well I just had to make sure that she knew she was making a big mistake," she smiled and I shook my head.

"Know what?" I questioned and she laughed.

"Well that you belong with me of course. I mean why do you think she came over here? I told her to come while you were getting a glass of wine," she said and my fists clenched.

"You did this," I hissed, and again, she just laughed.

"Of course baby, after all, I know you love me, and what we just did up there, that proved it," she said and placed her hands on my chest.

"You're wrong. Like always. I love her and not you. You were the one who threatened her life if I didn't have sex with you," I spat out and she shook her head.

"That may be true, but I know you have feelings for me Shawn," she smiled and I turned away from her.

"You know what Justine, I do have one small feeling for you. Do you wanna know what that feeling is?" I questioned and she nodded.

"The only feeling I feel for you is joy when you finally rot in hell where you belong!" I cursed and she backed away from me.

"Seriously Shawn? Why are you denying you feelings for me?" She asked and I looked at her in disgust.

"I just told you my feelings towards you, you worthless bitch," I growled and she shook her head.

"Fine, but just letting you know, you'll never find anyone like me again, and I'm not coming back," she said and I chuckled.

"Yeah that's kind of the point Justine!" I called out as she walked out the front door.

Now time to fix things with Alexis.

I ran back upstairs and finally broke as I hit the bed. My tears spilled uncontrollably, and I didn't know what to do. I grabbed my phone that was sitting on the night stand and went through my texts until I found Alexis' number.

That bitch!

I scrolled through everything Justine had sent Alexis. How did she even know what I got her for her birthday? Let alone how did she know about our fight?

I pressed the call button and prayed that she would answer, but of course, she didn't.

"Hey, its Alexis, you know what to do," her voicemail said, and I smiled while hearing her sweet voice.

"Alexis, I know you're upset and you're not going to answer my calls but please...I need to explain the whole story to you. I'm such a terrible person who doesn't deserve you, but at least hear me out."

"I'll be at that old park sitting on the bench waiting for you tomorrow morning if you decide to come. I love you so much baby, and I hope you know that. Sweet dreams beautiful."

I hung up the phone while letting one last tear fall from my face as I went to sleep.

I sat on the bench thinking about everything. I wanted Alexis to come. I needed her to hear the truth. I wouldn't have done what I did if it wasn't for a good reason.

Her life was on the line if I didn't have sex with Justine. Something wasn't right with that girls head, but since it involved Alexis' safety, I had to.

I promised Alexis I would protect her no matter what, and I did, but I didn't protect her heart. I stared at the lake thinking it would calm me, but all it did was just remind me of how I wasn't calm at all.

Just then, I heard the gravel start cracking. I turned my head towards my left and saw Alexis walking up towards of me. Her face was swollen, and her eyes were bloodshot.

She looked like she hasn't slept and that she'd been crying for the night which was probably the case.

"Alexis," I mumbled and a bit of hope peaked out in my voice.

"H-hey," her voice cracked and my heart broke.

Even her voice didn't even sound the same. I moved over so she could sit next to me on the bench.

"Thanks," she mumbled while taking a seat.

"Lex I'm really sorry-" she cut me off by looking at me with tears swelling up in her eyes.

"I know, just explain."
