Lexi.
"Lex? What are you doing here? Is everything alright?" Mark said and I shook my head.
"Do you think your mom will let me stay here until I find a place of my own?" I questioned while still letting my tears flow.
"Of course, come in," he said and opened the door further, welcoming me in.
I took a step in and shivered from the cold weather outside.
"So is everything alright? Why aren't you at home?" Mark asked and I shook my head.
"They found out about me and Shawn. They kicked me out," I choked out and he immediately wrapped his arms around me in comfort.
"Lex, I'm so sorry, but why aren't you staying with Shawn? Did everything go okay when you saw him?" He asked and I shook my head.
"H-he cheated on me," I stuttered and he just frowned.
"Lex I'm really sorry, I wish I could do something," he said and gently rubbed my back as I cried in his arms.
"I know, but sadly I don't think anyone can. I have no one else Mark," I sobbed and he shook his head.
"That's not true, you have me, and I'm sure your parents will come around," he said and I shook my head.
"They won't. They'll never," I said and pulled away from him.
"Why not?" He asked and I looked down at my feet.
"Lex?" He asked again since I didn't answer.
"Something else happened that they found out," I said and he tilted his head, wanting to know more.
"Like what?" He questioned and I looked up at him.
"I'm pregnant."

*Two weeks later*
~~~"Hey Alexis! Breakfast is ready get up sleepy head!" I groaned as I heard Mark yell for me.
It had almost been two weeks since I came up to Marks' doorstep. Everything was much better I guess you could say, but here was also this weird feeling that had been occurring here and there.
I got up from the guest bed I had been staying in, and headed downstairs.
"You know you really shouldn't piss off a pregnant woman this early Mark," I laughed as I walked into the kitchen, but I stopped in my tracks once I saw who was waiting for me.
"Shawn," I mumbled and he just sat there smiling at me.
"I'm sorry, I called him," Mark said and I shook my head.
All I could do was stare at Shawn. I didn't know what to do but to just stand there.
"I'll just leave you two alone," Mark said and walked back upstairs.
"What are you doing here?" I asked once Mark was out of hearing range.
"Mark said you got kicked out and that your parents found out about everything," he said and I nodded.
"Yeah, but why are you here is my question," I hissed, which I didn't mean to do, it just happened.
"I just wanted to make sure you were okay, and I wanted you to stay with me instead of here," he said and I shook my head.
"Shawn, I still haven't-" he cut me off and rose from his seat to walk towards me.
"I know Lex, but I think it would be better to live with me because I know how to take care of not only you but our baby too," he said which almost had me give into him.
"I'll think about it okay?" I said and he nodded.
"Okay, just let me know. I'm always here for you Lex," he whispered and gently kissed my forehead.
After that, he left.
"Everything alright now?" I heard Mark say as he walked back downstairs once the coast was clear.
"Yeah, everything's alright," I smiled and turned on my heels to walk back upstairs.
Before I could, the doorbell rang again.
"Who is it this time?" I scoffed and turned around to see Mark get the door.
"Alexis," I heard them both say and I just rolled my eyes.
"Funny, I thought the family reunion was...what's the word? Never," I hissed and they both walked inside without Marks' consent.
"You really shouldn't be here," Mark muttered and my parents both gave him the death glare.
"She's our daughter, I'm pretty sure we can do what we want," my mom said with a glare and I shook my head.
"Daughter huh? Is that what you call kicking you're own 'daughter' out?" I said while crossing my arms.
"Look, sweetie, just let us explain. How about we take you out...to lunch?" My dad said and I shook my head.
"It's barely breakfast time," I said and they both checked their watches.
"Lex, it's already three," Mark said and I shrugged.
"Same thing," I said and Mark just smiled at me which made me feel a lot better.
"We'll get changed, and we'll take you to lunch okay? Then we can talk," my mom said and I nodded.
"Only because I feel like I have no choice," I scoffed and went back upstairs to change.
~~~
We'd been driving for what felt like an hour, which it was. They hadn't told me where we were going, and this weird feeling in the pit of my stomach started to come up.
"So are we almost there?" I asked and I just saw my mom nod.
"We're here," my dad said and we pulled up to a building.
I really wish I could say I didn't know what kid of building this was, but I knew exactly what it was. We were at a hospital.
"Why are we here?" I asked and none of them said anything until we got out of the car and into the building.
"We're here to help you, and this is the only way," my mom said, and my head started turning.
"What do you-" I was cut off by a doctor approaching us.
"Appointment 4:15?" The doctor asked and both of my parents nodded.
I tried saying something again, but I didn't know what to say when I heard the doctors' final words.
"Alright we'll get you set up for your abortion right now Ms. Rivera."
I'm sorry, but what the fuck did you just say?
