Kahoot was putting a lot of effort into being quiet. You were still sleeping peacefully, but he had woken up 30 minutes ago and started making breakfast. Last night was when he decided that he probably liked you as more than a friend, and today was the day he was going to try to do something about it. To start, he figured he could make you an amazing breakfast.
However, that plan was very flawed. First of all, he had never made pancakes in his life; as a matter of fact, he's never really cooked anything at all. After consulting the Internet for a recipe and a guide, he started his first attempt at pancakes....let's just say, it didn't end well.
The only thing he succeeded in doing was making a mess and burnt, lumpy ovals. He also caused a lot of smoke, and made you awake to the smell of fire. You bolt upright in bed, thinking that one of candles must have lit something.
You stumble out of bed and rush into the kitchen, only to find Kahoot looking defeated with a beige coloured substance coating his hair. You lift you head and see pancake batter slowly dripping from the ceiling and painting his dark locks. You're both silent for a moment before you start to speak.
"Kahoot...why is there pancake batter on the ceiling?" You question.
He shrugs and sports a guilty smile.
You suddenly start laughing at the scene laid out in front of you : a confused Kahoot is standing behind the counter wearing a large amount of flour, pathetic excuses for pancakes were scattered around the counter with one also in his hand, and the toaster had even started smoking. With a crackling sound, it ignites.
"The toaster!" you shout, pointing behind him to the fiery object.
His eyes widen and he looks around for something to use to extinguish it. He looks down at his hand, and with a shrug he starts beating the toaster with the pancake.
Your laughter is even louder than before, and when you catch your breath the toaster is no longer on fire and the pancake is slightly more burnt than before.
The kitchen was a mess, breakfast was ruined, and Kahoot felt like a failure. He didn't know it then, but even though he failed at making you breakfast, he succeeded at getting a piece of your heart.

The kitchen took awhile to clean up, and for your hard efforts (and also because it was easier) you both decided to head to a restaurant for breakfast instead. The pancakes you both had there were a hundred times better than anything either of you could have made on your own.
After both of you have paid and are out of the restaurant, you grab Kahoot's wrist without saying anything and start running towards the park across the street. He doesn't question it, and in no time you both arrive at the park's walking trail breathless.
You both heave in the fresh, cool air, before you start speaking. "Ever since I was young, I'd come here after a bad day and just walk around," you reveal to him. "It's nice all year round, but spring was always my favourite. The flowers and everything just start waking up, and it's all fresh and new again."
You both walk side by side through the park, little kids running and playing up in front of you.
"I like it, y/n," he tells you simply. The kids in front stop to examine something on the ground, and you and Kahoot pass them.
"Back where I used to live, I had something similar," Kahoot whispers, mostly to himself.
You're curious as to what his special place could be, but since he doesn't elaborate on it, you don't ask. One of the kids sneakily puts a worm in the other's hood, and when his victim realizes it and starts screaming the kid laughs so hard he falls over onto the grass.
Kahoot smiles to himself. He thinks back fondly to when he was younger and would pull much bigger pranks all the time. The kids at school didn't like him much for it, and it annoyed his mother greatly, but he loved doing it anyways. I'll have to do one soon, he thinks to himself.

Monday morning is as boring as always, but at least today you'd get your grade back on a paper you wrote for Mr.Adams' class. You actually tried really hard on this paper, and we're hoping for at least an A.
At the end of the class, Mr. Adams passed them out. While you wait for yours, Kahoot gets your attention and holds his up with a smile. You see that he got a B on it, and he looks really proud. You shoot him a thumbs up while shaking your leg, anxiously awaiting your results.
Your teacher passes by your desk and places a paper face down. You lift it up, and your face falls when you see a C written in red pen. You honestly don't understand; it was a really good paper, great even.
After the bell rings and all the students start trickling out of the room, you make your way over to his desk to question him about your ridiculous grade.
"Mr. Adams?"
He gives you a nod of acknowledgment while looking down and continuing to write.
"Um, it's about my paper. I'm pretty sure it was alright, so I have no idea why I got a C."
He stops writing, takes the paper from your hands, and looks it over.
"Oh yes, I remember your's. It was one of the best in the class, actually." He hands the paper back. "However, the side of the paper has holes punched in it, and that's unacceptable."
He resumes what he was doing and expects you to leave, but you don't. His answer made no sense.
"Wait...so let me get this straight. You're saying that I didn't get an A because I had holes in my paper?"
He stops writing and looks up at you. "That's exactly what I'm saying. Holes on the side of a paper that's not lined? It's an abomination."
You stand there stunned, while anger starts bubbling up inside. His excuse makes absolutely no sense, and you know that he's just trying to be horrible to you personally. You have no idea why he dislikes you so much, and it isn't fair. You don't know what to do, so you collect your things, stomp out of the room, and slam the door behind you.
In the hallway, you pass Phoenix who's carrying a small fish bowl with what seems to be a small green fury ball inside of it. You make a mental note to ask him about it at lunch, and head to your next class.
