Mrs. Weasley extended her hand for me to take. I took it. I grabbed my bags and went with her. I hope everything works out.

This little girl, Emily, she has to be a wizard. I mean, all of those things that were going on, and her parents and her not knowing. Muggle-born I suppose. I hope Arthur doesn't mind me taking her in, or the kids for that matter.

"Well, let's take you to my place, dear." I said. She took my hand and we walked. She was shivering and soaking wet. Poor thing. We kept walking until we made it to the portkey. It was a trash tin in an old alley.

"So, I'm assuming you've never traveled by portkey?" I said to her. "Oh, umm, no. What's a portkey?" she asked. "Well, it's a way to travel somewhere quickly, it's pretty magical. But you can't tell people about it." I said. I don't want her to spread rumors about magi, just in case she isn't a wizard, or accidentally slips it to a muggle. "Okie" she said.

Wow! I never knew there was another way to travel. "Okay, so you may feel a bit strange but you'll be fine." Mrs. Weasley explained. We held onto the portkey. It was pretty strange, I've never felt or seen anything like this before. It's like magic! We appeared on this grassy hill like area.

I looked to my left and saw this really tall house that looked like it was about to topple over. "Where's this?" I asked, looking  up at her. "This is my house, you'll be staying here for awhile. It's not the nicest place, but it's functional, it's home. Now, let's get you inside" Mrs. Weasley said, walking me up to the house.

We came up to the door and went inside. It was crazy, the dishes were washing themselves and the broom was sweeping the floor with no one controlling it! I've never seen anything like this before! "Woah..." I said to myself.

"Can you keep a secret?" Mrs. Weasley asked. "Yes." I said. "I, along with my family, have magical powers. We are wizards and witches." " she said, bending down to be face to face with me. "Wow, I thought... I thought those were only in fairytales!" I said. I mean a witch, a whole family of them! I wonder how more there are in the world..."Well, we're here and real dear," she said smiling, "and I think you may be one too."

"Me? A-a wizard? Well, I guess that could explain the strange things going on..." I said. Wow... I'm really surprised. I never thought something like this could happen, and to me of all people! This is amazing, but... where am I going to learn everything? Will she teach me? Would I go to school, and if so, where? I have so many questions...

"Well, I think we should have you meet everyone, and then we'll get you set up in your room." Mrs. Weasley said. Someone came around the corner into the kitchen, where we were. "Hello. dear." said a man, with orange hair. "Oh, hello Arthur." Mrs. Weasley said smiling at him. "And um, who's this?" he asked, looking at me.

"Oh, this is Emily East. I found her homeless on the streets, I think she's a witch. Muggle-born, though. She said her parents had no idea what was happening when spurts of magic would come out, so she ran away" Mrs. Weasley explained.

"Oh, well hello Emily!" he said sweetly, crouching down, now just below my level. "Is she staying with us?" he asked Mrs. Weasley, now looking up at her. "Yes, she will!" she Mrs. Weasley happily. Mr. Weasley smiled, now looking at me again.

"Now let's go tell the kids" he said, standing up. "Kids, will you come down here please?" Mrs. Weasley said loudly.
