I woke up, the day after Christmas. Looking at the clock, I growled. "Seriously?" The clock said 5:47. "It's too freaking early for this garbage" I mumbled, throwing myself back into my pillows.

I've had trouble sleeping that night, considering that my Christmas was basically ruined by my quote on quote parents. I tried my best keeping my cool around my friends. I didn't want them to think something was up and affect their Christmas.

On the bright side, I've become closer to my brother after what happened. Alex is actually a really neat boy. We haven't told anyone about us, mostly because we'd have to explain my (and his) situation, which I didn't want to do so quickly.

With these troubled thoughts, I eventually drifted off into a light sleep.

____________

"Emilyyy" I heard a voice say. Confused, I slowly began to open my eyes, blinded by the light. Eventually, my vision began to gather and I could make out Hermione. "W-what?" I asked. "C'mon! Emily, it's almost noon!" she exclaimed, grabbing me by the arm and attempted to drag me out of bed.

Groaning, I slid out of bed. I went over to my chest and grabbed a white semi-see-through sweater, with a white tank top underneath and high-waisted, light blue denim skinny jeans, and a pair of black Toms.

I found my parents letter and the photos and put them into my pocket, as a reminder to write them at some point.

After putting on my clothes, I made my way into the bathroom. I brushed my teeth and blue hair. As I saw my hair, I made a face. Stupid Fred.

Determined to fix my hair, I went straight to Dumbledore's office. I made my way up the marble steps, knocking on the doors, not knowing the gargoyle's password.

The doors slowly opened and I made my way inside, the doors closing behind me. "Ah, hello Miss East. How was your Christmas?" he asked calmly. "Pretty good, and your's Professor?" I asked sweetly. He nodded.

"Well, thank you. So what made you come to visit?" he asked in the same manner as before. "Well, as you can see Professor, my hair is blue. Obviously I didn't choose this." I explained. "Yes, blue really isn't your color, try a light peach. How did this happen then?" he asked. "Let's just say a certain red head did this." I said with a smirk. He chuckled, "I believe I know who"

"Well, I've tried everything I know and even Hermione did too, which really says something. Anyways, is there anything you could do?" I asked.

He walked closer to me and gently examined a few strands of my hair. "Well, I could try this.." he said, pulling out his wand. He recited a spell, moving his wand fluidly around my hair, turning it back into its natural blonde.

A goofy smile swept across my face. "Thanks Professor!" I exclaimed. He nodded and I happily skipped my way back to the common room. I recited the password at the portrait and made my way in.

"Heyy Freddy~" I said, wrapping my arms around his shoulders, getting on my tiptoes to be able to even get close to accomplishing that. He seemed a bit taken aback by my closes but I couldn't care. My hair was back!! "W-What?" he stuttered. "Look! Look! See my hair!? It's back!" I laughed.

He had a defeated look on his face. "How did you manage to do that!?" he asked, clearly shocked. Even George, who was with him, seemed shocked. "I went to Dumbledore" I chuckled. A disappointed smile spread across their faces and I couldn't help but to be proud.

"Oh! Hey, is lunch still out?" I asked. I began to feel my stomach grumble, considering I slept through breakfast and the majority of lunch. "Hmm? Oh , yeah, it should be opened. Want some company?" Fred asked. "Of course!" I said with a smile.
