I look out the compartment window after taking a fairly long nap. It's now dark out now, so I'm assuming we'll be arriving soon.

We began to pass a huge hill and I let my heavy eyes begin to fall, until something catches my attention. As we go by the end of the hill, I see the castle that is Hogwarts, slowly appear into my vision. It's bright lights are like a beacon, drawing me closer, and closer. My excitement grows as we near the school. I look over to see Ron sleeping, and the twins no longer in the compartment, and I notice Harry's looking at the school along with me. "Woah..." we say together, smiling.

"Hey Ron!" I said, moving Gulliver from my lap so I can shove Ron awake. "Wh-wha?" he said groggily, trying to recollect himself after me shoving him. I laughed, "Look! We're here!" I said excitedly, but quietly. He had just woke up and I scared him awake, I didn't wanna be too harsh.

"Really?" he said, sitting up, looking excited. We gathered up our bags and made sure we had everything. I make sure Gulliver is with me, Ron checks Scabbers and Harry checks Hedwig.

The train slows to a stop at the station and everyone scurries out, causing crowdedness and confusion. We made it out, managing to stay together, and also finding Hermione too. We all walk out onto the platform and we hear someone call with a bellowing voice, "First years over hear!" Harry looks over to the giant man. "Hagrid!" he yells, running over to him, giving him a giant hug, fitting for the giant man.

Ron , Hermione, and I run to catch up with him. "Who's this?" I ask. "How do you know him?" questioned Hermione. "Yeah!" piped up Ron. I laughed at his lack of words. "This is Hagrid, he helped me get to King's Cross Station!" exclaimed Harry, proud of his friend.

Harry looks over to Hagrid, "These are my friends; Ron, Hermione, and Emily!" Harry said to him, pointing to each of us as he said our names. "Well, any friend of Harry's is a friend of mine! Pleased to meetcha!" Hagrid said. "You too!" I said. Hermione shook his hand, smiling.

Hagrid gathers up the rest of the first years and has us all gather up at the docs. "Now, everyone will pair up into four, and get into the boat. Your luggage and pets are being transported to the school now, so don't worry, there's no need to worry. Now, c'mon, get into fours and choose a boat. It will row itself." Hagrid explained.

Harry, Ron, Hermione, and I, all got into a boat together. We look towards the school, the light on our boat leading us forward. The lights from us and the other boats reflection illuminated in the waters below. It was beautiful, with the stars and and lights looming above us.

I stand up by the front of the boat, to get a better view. I lean forward as far as I can, just enough to not fall. The gentle wind blowing in my hair, I look forward, admiring the beautiful castle.

Ron chuckles, "I could totally push you right now." he said. "No don't!" I say laughing. Ron slowly started to rock the boat, making be begin to lose my balance.  "Ron-Ron, stop!" I say in between laughs. "Ron, she's going to fall!" Hermione says worried. Harry was laughing, along with me and Ron.

I went to move to sit back down in the seat, but I lost my footing, and fell into the water with a small splash. It was dark and cold, so I quickly swam back up to the surface, now soaking wet. I'm cackling with laughter along with Ron and Harry. "Emily! Are you okay?!" Hermione exclaims, helping me out of the water and into the boat. "Y-yes, I'm fine!" I said, in between laughs. Hermione now realising that I'm fine, begins to laugh with us. Soon all four of us were lying on our backs, laughing harder than we ever had before. We got a few stares from some of the other students passing by.

We eventually made it  to the castle and got out of our boats. Getting out was easy for Ron, Hermione, Harry, and the other students, but for me it was harder, with the weight of my soaking robes pulling down on me.

Hagrid stood by the entrance of the school, calling the first years to him. Harry, Ron, Hermione, and I make our way to the front. "Wha' happened yo yer, Emily?" Hagrid asked me, with a slight smirk. "Oh um...I fell in..." I say, slightly embarrassed, now looking back at the situation. My friends laughed, reminding me that it doesn't matter what others think. I laughed too. "Oh, well um...here!" Hagrid said, giving me a giant blanket. I wrap it up around myself, instantly feeling warmer.
