~ Time Skip: Morning of Departure ~

I woke up at about 7 A.M., all on my own. I guess I'm just super excited to go to Hogwarts! I get out of my bed and Gulliver follows me.

I put on a mid-thigh length overall dress. It was blue-grey with semi-faded daisies. Underneath, I'm wearing a white and black striped t-shirt. Then I put on my black low-top converse and the bracelet Ginny gave me.

I went into the bathroom, Gulliver following, and put my hair in braids like I did yesterday. Then I brush my teeth and go back into my bedroom.

The bedroom doors were opened, but there was a knock on the door frame. I look over to see Molly. "You look cute today, dear." she said smiling. "Oh, thanks!" I said, awkwardly. I'm not good at taking compliments.

Molly hands me a trunk with my initials on it. "W-what's this?" I ask. "It's your Hogwarts trunk! We got your initials on it!" Molly said proudly. "Wow! Thank you so much!" I said smiling. Now, why don't you get packing." she said, quietly (Ginny was still sleeping), leaving me to pack. I giggled and began to pack.

~ Time Skip: Breakfast ~

"Are you excited for Hogwarts, Emily?" Percy asked. "Very." I said, eating my pancakes. "Me too. I'm glad there will be someone in my classes that I'll know." Ron said. "Same." I replied. "I hope we both get into Gryffindor!" Ron said to me. "Me too." I said matter-of-factly. "Don't worry, whatever house you get, I'll be proud of the both of you." Molly said sympathetically.

We all finish our breakfast and carry out packed trunks to the Ford. I run inside and grab Gulliver. "Got everything?" Arthur asked. Everyone checked their things as I made my way back outside. We said we had everything and got into the car, which surprisingly fit us all. I guess that's the magic to it!

Arthur started the engine and pressed some sort of button. "What's that button do?" I asked. "It makes the car invisible." he said, like it was something done everyday. "Why would we need that?" I asked curiously. "So, the Muggles won't see us." he said, matter-of-factly. "But why..?" I began to ask; but I didn't get to finish my question because the Ford began to fly off the ground.

"Woah...ohmigosh, I'm gonna die!" I said freaking out. I've never been in a flying car before! This is literally insane! "Emily, you're fine." Fred said, placing his hand on my shoulder. "I hope you're right..." I say nervously, petting Gulliver to calm me down.

We continue to fly for a while, passing above buildings and birds of all kinds. I've never seen the world from this view! We eventually came up upon the station known as King's Cross Station. The place was huge, especially from this angle up above. The white letters that named the place seemed small from below, but flying next to it, I saw that their actual size was more than double that.

We park the car and unload our things. We put our trunks on a luggage rack and went into the crowded station. People were staring at us as we were walking. I mean, it's a mob of people, all with red hair (besides the one dirty-blonde being me), carrying giant luggage racks with owls and broomsticks. I guess that if I didn't know them or about magic, I would stare too.

I used to come here to this station all of the time with my mum and dad. We would come in the Summers and Christmas Break to visit my grandparents in North Wales. It wasn't too long of a ride, maybe about three hours. We went as often as we could to visit my grandparents; It only cost about £16.50 per person. I miss them, they would always give me butterscotch candies.

We continue to manage our way through the crowded platforms, then stopping at a brick wall between platform nine and ten. I felt more eyes on us but I look around and realise that the eyes aren't just on us, but on the other wizards and witches now around us. Some are dressed in "Muggle Clothes" while others were wearing strange robes and hats.

I noticed how they looked around, probably looking for suspecting Muggles, before running into the brick wall. Wait. A brick wall?!

"Woah...we-we have to run into a wall !?" I exclaimed loudly. I got a couple of stares. "Shh, keep your voice down." Percy said, putting a finger to his lips. "We can't have the Muggles overhear us." he explained. "Oh...sorry." I said, feeling a bit embarrassed.

I'm standing by Platform 9 trying to figure out where platform 9 3/4 is. I have my trunk and Hedwig's cage and I feel people's stares. It makes sense though; a boy all alone with an owl, looking for Platform 9 3/4.

"We can't have the Muggles overhear us." I heard someone say. I look over to see a clan of people, all with the same burning red hair, accompanied by a small girl with dirty-blonde hair.

I heard them say something about Muggles and not wanting them overhearing, so I'm assuming they're wizards. Maybe they could help me find this Platform 9 3/4, so, I make my way over there. I push my trolley over in their direction and push my way through the crowd. I didn't know what to say or ask, so I sat back and watched the red-head with curly hair dodge into the wall first.

I don't know if I can do this... I felt my face twist into an expression of confusion. "Do you need any help dear?" the lady with big, red hair asked. "Um...how do I..?" I asked shyly, pointing at the wall.

She chuckled. "Yes, you just take a running start and push your cart in front of you." she explained. I nodded my head, trying to take it all in. "You can go with Ron, it's his first time too." the lady said, pointing over to the youngest boy red-head.

"Hi, I'm Ron." the boy said smiling. "Hi, I'm harry." I said back.

I turn around and see Ron talking to a boy with jet black hair. I walk over to them curiously. "Hi, who're you?" I ask. "oh, I'm Harry." he said.

"alright kids, are you ready to go?" Molly asked. Percy had already gone in, so it was one of the twin's turns. "Fred, you next." Molly said. "I'm not Fred, I;m George!" he said, "Honestly woman, you call yourself our mother?" he finished chuckling. I laughed. I knew it was really Fred. "Sorry, George, dear." Mrs. Weasley said. "Only joking, I am Fred!" he said laughing, running through the wall. "Okay, Emily, because this is your first time, you'll need a buddy. George, will you please go with her?" she asked. "'Course mum!"he said, coming up to me.

George and I walk up to the wall, standing about three feet back. "Just don't over-think it." he said, "Getting a running start helps." he explained. We run forwards together, pushing our carts in front of us. I shut my eyes and feel myself come out of the wall. When the feeling is gone, I open my eyes and look over to see George standing next to me. "See? Wasn't too bad" he said.

We walk over to where Fred and Percy were, and wait for the rest of the Weasleys to emerge. We make some small talk, mostly me and Fred joking around, making George laugh in return, until the rest of the clan arrive.

"Alright kids, you'd better hurry up and get on the train." Molly said. We gave her, Arthur, and Ginny a hug and said our goodbyes.

We hurried up to get on the train. There were so many people trying to fill the train at once, that I was separated from the Weasleys and our newfound friend, Harry.
